I’ve seen enough of him to know he’s a massive crock as well

This along with at least two others in that line up. Does anyone really know how the long term injury players are getting on fitness wise. Nuhiu as to start the first game irrespective of who's fit or who isn't. He is the inform striker, Hooper isn't. An extremly long term injury. Doubt he will hit the heights before he was injured..

Beyond me why anyone would consider playing FF anywhere other than left wing. Jos started him on the left of a 343 and he scored 5 goals from six starts + (4 sub).

FF has produced his best form when playing left wing. *Apart from one game, imo he's looked just ok when played in a front two front but nothing more. From the few times he's played 'in the hole' he hasn't performed at all.

*Ironically given their alleged falling out I remember one game against Hudds where we ended up with FF and Winall as the front two. They instantly clicked and pulled the Hudds defence all over the shop, there was so much movement between the two of them that the Hudds defenders did not have a clue what to do with them. Carlos never tried it again!!

I'd be looking to get our best player FF on the left of a front three.

Forestieri did start on the left of a front three but he has freedom which is what he will get anywhere in a front three or behind a two

Why would you change it when he consistently performs better on the left? He does not play well when he has played behind the two strikers.Maybe he can produce the same  form on the right of a front three but in the middle? Don't see any point in fixing what is working perfectly and getting the best out of our best player and getting the best out of the team. I'm not a massive fan of a back three but the formation Jos had us playing at the back end of the season (mainly 343) had me admitting that Jos absolutely nailed it.

There's no bigger Hooper fan than me, but you cant leave Nuhiu out v Wigan.

I am sure Hooper will force his way into the side, but to drop the on-form man would be wrong.

Depends how pre season goes though of course. He's the man in possession for sure but the job of keeping his place started last week. I imagine Fletcher will force his way into the reckoning as well.

These ‘best line up’ threads make me laugh. Hutchinson ? Lee? Hooper? They are all finished ... they won’t be in any teams regualr line up

You don't maintain your form over months without playing, pre season will dictate who starts.

                 Dave                    Hooper

That team would cause serious damage next season

Lots of quality on the bench too with Joao, Matias, Winnall, Boyd, Thorniley, Fletcher, Rhodes, Jones, and Abdi (maybe)

It’s tough.

if it’s what we have now.

got to play Kieran Lee at RWB if fit.

I can however see a lot of young lads playing.

Ash Baker and Thornley Maybe.

id go

             Westwood

    Lees. Van Arken Pudil

Lee. Joey.  Bannan.  Reach

               Fessi

         Nuhiu.   Rhodes

as I don’t think Hooper will be fit.

know people will scoff at Rhodes, but if he stays, in that side he’ll score.

Nuhui for Hooper,if both fit, never in a million yeaqrs

That's what I'd start with in August and what I expect Jos will do. Of course it could be Hooper and Nuhiu but suspect he'll start with Joao and Nuhiu.

Nuhiu had shown what a terrific player he is with the right management.

Don't do much football mate do you?

A player can only become isolated during a game, you cant say a player is isolated based on a formation.

If in possession we get Reach, Boyd, Bannan, Lee and Forestieri around him then he isn't isolated.

Ridiculous comment.
