Hirst has not got a contact dispute. He's currently under contract until the end of season. He's already played under that contract. Hirst can't refuse to play but we can refuse to play him. Clearly wednesday are trying to teach him a lesson for having the audacity to turn down a new contract. Why would he play in the lower leagues or non league? That was a condition of his new contract offer Wednesday are putting power and control before the clubs wellbeing. It happened under Richards and its happening with the new broom. But let's be clear.
