It's time to ask the manager a direct question about Hirst. 

Oops he's under orders not to discus it. 

Hirst has not got a contact dispute. He's currently under contract until the end of season. He's already played under that contract. 

Hirst can't refuse to play but we can refuse to play him. 

Clearly wednesday are trying to teach him a lesson for having the audacity to turn down a new contract. Why would he play in the lower leagues or non league? 

That was a condition of his new contract offer 

Wednesday are putting power and control before the clubs wellbeing. It happened under Richards and its happening with the new broom. 

But let's be clear. There is no contract dispute with Hirst. Theres a pre existing contract with binding terms and responsibilities.

tbf   Just for a moment assume he signs and is allowed back into the reckoning 

the pressure on the lad now is ramped up beyond what it was before as the son of a legend 

 

can see the comments now  ' he didn't score, why did we pay him the cash - he's feckin rubbish !'

 

So if it does happen i really hope that even the idiots cut the kid some slack
