Most Reading fans want Jokanovic, but definitely don’t want Bruce. They would be my feelings also, were there a vacancy here. A lot of the names some put forward, like a Bruce, Holloway etc, have had their moments of success, yes, but they don’t really build anything sustainable When they leave 12 months down the line, there’s even more upheaval as the next bloke needs to bring in all his own players

You can understand why clubs want to get away from that model, and build some sort of continuity, whoever the coach is In fairness, it’s probably what DC wanted to do when he appointed Jos. However, it always looked an appointment that lacked ambition, and hardly fitted his remit of entertaining football The right coach, can certainly get more out of this squad as it stands

What do you mean no plan? Need a LB, CB and Beast midfielder for 3 seasons but buy Jordan Rhodes, Steven Fletcher and Sam Winnall instead then spaff 4.5m on Van Aken as a panic buy.
