The squad was built in my opinion to get promotion quickly.  The commercial side will take years to produce enough money to raise enough capital to help fund transfers, and will probably need promotion to attain that aim.

Yes I agree we gambled on promotion in particular last season when I think we signed Rhodes to push us over the line.

If predicting think next few seasons will be like Notts Forest have been recently. Failed a couple of times in play offs then burdened by large contracts for players they cant move on and fell back to be a lower mid table side.

On ticket prices I am not asking for ticket to be £5 a game. I know thats unrealistic just asking for them to be about average price for the league not the highest.

If it's a mess then it's a mess entirely of his own making. He over paid in the first place, has wasted countless millions on fees and wages for players that have barely played and his operation of the business has been shambolic.

We're operating then at approx £13m loss a season then, i.e. Funded by him,

if he wants out, he would sell players, strip back expenditure to as close to no loss as possible, so lack of investment, lack of spending on infrastructure and so on.

Wed then he'd  have to wait goodness knows how long for a new owner and he might not want to wait around for 'the right next owner' like Milan did and just want to get rid.

What is this "Spending on Infrastructure " of which you speak ?

I'll have a stab

The pitch was a well overdue but very welcome move

the giant screen ok but not necessary

the flashing pitch boards awful

the changing of seats and removal of the owl swapping SWFC for his name  -sad

nice xmas lights

virtually closing the exec box floor

Not sure you can balance saying the scoreboard and advertising boards are not necessary with any kind of desire to maximise our commercial revenue.

Pitch - needed to be done

screen - revenue source

Pitch advertising board - revenue source

changing of the seats - pence in the grand scheme of things

changing swfc for his name - sponsor ship no doubt revenue stream

closing the exec floor - he hasn’t, they will be getting the same income for selling less boxes reducing overheads for the unused boxes fill them and they will be yep you guessed it another revenue stream

now stop chuffing whinging like a brat and go have a chocolate or something.

Why is his way the only way when other clubs have chosen other paths?  I don’t get it.

Not sure the screen has brought any commercial revenue for a while. Even Yorkshire tea have given up

I think we can be fairly certain that the screen and advertising boards bring less real income than the old wooden boards that at least advertised real companies that wanted to sell real products to the people of Sheffield.
