Mr C - any chance of a £2000 interest free loan, I am expecting a pay rise sometime in the next couple of years and we can then sort out the repayment terms.

Opening up another line of communication with the fans, on top of the regular steering group meetings.

There'll be the usual suspects trying to find the negative in this but in fairness to Dejphon Chansiri he’s trying to engage with the fans and is obviously interested in their views and opinions.

Fair play to him, he doesn’t have to do this.

I'm negative about this.

Before you sigh...let me explain.

You're dead right about him not having to account for himself.

However, I think this is a way out of steering group meetings.

I think they should be kept going even if the owner doesn't attend.

This announcement is the precursor to ending the steering group imo.

It's an important way of the club connecting with the supporters.... I've called it a talking shop before... but I've changed my mind.

I can answer that.

20,000 fans at £20 = £400,000
20,000 fans at £40 = £800,000

£200,000 difference per game

Most of our fans have season tickets. We are getting few home fans paying one-off matchday prices with the exception of the blunts game when we still couldn't sell out.

£200,000 difference per game is nonsense.

The next steering group meeting is already scheduled and the club have said that this is another line of communication on top of the steering group meetings.

I think it's a great way to address a wider audience.

I stand corrected.

I think I'll be right in the long run.

The club is obligated to run Steering Group meetings.

They have to run them

They can't get out of them

It's a tick box exercise

With Sheffield and South Yorkshire being one of the most economic deprived areas in the county if not Western Europe how can the highest ticket prices in the league and 1867 Membership scheme be justified when many members of the Sheffield Wednesday family cant afford to attend games anymore?

Season tickets are more than fair price.

Current attendance levels and demand suggest otherwise.

They were only obligated recently, there is one planned for October 25th so it proves that this isn't seen as an alternative.

Still - fair play to the chairman and club for doing this.

Clearly, they’re aware of the discontent with a lot of off the field matters and are trying to respond.

We are all very quick to put the boot in so on the flip side the club should be given their props for trying to engage.

Makes a welcome departure from the past.
