We've moved on from the standards set by the likes of Pearson and Megson, just as we've outgrown Carlos. Hopefully the Chairmans representatives are already actively scoping our options already. Even a just below average contribution by our our strikers ... and we had 6, with one out on loan now ( and wow was that an important goal he scored at the Cottage recently)..... we would be contending automatic promotion. Rhodes, Winnell, Fletcher, Hooper and big Dave ... ok selection and injuries come into it but have they ever gone so many games collectively or individually with so few goals scored? Norwich was one of those Rocking Horse manure games. Carlos has deserved a much better return by these strikers ... and just not had it. They owe him, DC, their team mates but most importantly us.
