Hutch must play via leeds it could get tasty

A win tonight and beat the scum we are 6 points clear of 6th ? If reading draw tonight we go fourth on goal difference WOW exciting times I know 1 game at a time but come on this is on we have a real chance to cement our place come on Wednesday!!!!!!!!

I disagree, tonight's game is more important. If we win it puts us 3 points above Leeds allowing for a slip up on Saturday.

I'd tend to agree with you.

Full strength tonight, for me.

However, I think we could see CC make a couple of changes.

If he features and gets booked tonight, he misses the Leeds match.

Personally, I'd have Jones in tonight and save Hutch for Saturday.

Personally, I'd only play Jones in an emergency.  Can understand your logic though.  Bannan and Abdi for me if that's the case.

absolutely it's the most important .......we can cover just about any position like for like except hutch ....if he's fit he should play .

I'd rather have Lee crawling around the pitch then jones, would probably offer as much as him

100% agree!

You can't not play Jones if you aren't playing Hutch. Bannon and Abdi together without a DM is a recipe for disaster imo. Yes, he's been a disappointment but he's a DM and neither of the afore-mentioned are.

Put our full strength out against Brentford and we probably win, put our full strength out against Leeds and it could go either way to be honest, I'd rather win against Brentford, put that 3 point cushion between us and Leeds and play for the win Saturday knowing that a draw isn't the end of the world.

No gimmees in Champ. Can remember going down there (was on Sky) We were on unbeaten run, they were on a losing run. We lost

We've a decent record against them in recent years...

The Owls have won four and lost none of their last seven league games against Brentford (D3).
Brentford are winless in their last three trips to Hillsborough in league competition (D1 L2), failing to score in each game.
Sheffield Wednesday have won four consecutive league games for the first time this season; they last won five in a row in April 2007.
Brentford have lost their last three away league games; they've not suffered four consecutive defeats since March 2016 - a run which included the Owls.
Keiren Westwood has kept a clean sheet in five of his last six league games at Hillsborough for Sheffield Wednesday.

Jones can do a job, it's just not the same job Sam does.

Sam is a warrior, Jones is a technician, reads the game and tidy.

I'd always prefer Sam but I respect Jones much more than most people seem to do.

Agreed. If we are resting Hutch then there's only one other DM at the club and that's Jones. No team plays without at least one DM these days.
