Our name is just so different to other football clubs. It's cool, mysterious, and I quite often get asked by other fans (I live in London) how we got our name.

 

I just love our name.

From a traditional and corporate point of view, it is a name that has been under utilized as an asset for so many years.

 

It's instantly recognizable and immediately sets us apart from the usual Utd's, City's, Towns, Rovers, Wanderers etc. 

 

On the flip side, Hillsborough & Leppings Lane have been a ball and chain for the last quarter century.
