The only way is S6
who's under most pressure to come up with a result next week at Newcastle? The wally with the brolly, if Watford pinch a win on Satdy. Or CC if we don't win against Fulham. Doubtful the Geordies will put their 1st team out if they're bottom of the league & they play Chelsea & Man City after us. Unless they think they can win this cup. Or will CC throw caution to the wind to try & take a scalp & get us off & running with a much needed win. Plenty at stake for both managers, fans & clubs. Southie_Owl
No pressure on us or CC, no way should we be winning at Newcastle. Also FF is cuptied so our best player will be missing. Only if we get heavily beaten will more pressure be added on CC

TheEnchanter
No pressure on us at all. Can't expect to be winning the game. I am very hopeful we can cause an upset though.
Ever the pessimist
Play our strongest (if anyone knows what that is) team. More awkward for Newcastle. They have said they are to start taking cups seriously, but need to pick up in the league too.
The only way is S6
Sincerely hope we can score first to get their heads down & subdue the crowd. Nowt more annoying than losing at home to a lower league club with a big, noisy following.

BD2OWL
We have a game in between, a positive result for either side in that and there is no pressure at all.
wednesdaywizard
It was this time last year that our bright start to the season fell apart in Manchester. Maybe this will be the opposite this time around. Sneak a win and crack on in the league.
Bluesteel
Their write ups in the paper are just like ours. Keep the ball, don't score. Can't defend Could be a good game!
owl-zat
This game where may suit our new 'skilful and technical' players from Europe more than the Championship and we might surprise them if we can put the ball in the onion bag

GMOwl72
Think Newcastle will put a strong team out. They can't buy a win at the minute and will no doubt see this as a confidence booster.
FlyingOwl
Forestieri cup-tied for this one. As long as CC doesn't do anything stupid like play Price/Wildsmith in net...I feel as though we have a good chance. Don't expect a win. But I'm also confident that we are capable of winning. Like others have said. Take control of this game early, maybe sneak an early goal, and their fans will turn & Newcastle's heads will drop. That will be the key to our win. The only way is S6
God I hope so. That twot is responsible for one of the worst nights ever at Wembley in 2007 at home to Croatia. I'd Keegan love it if we got him the sack.
