Hooper

I could take or leave this deal. At the money quoted, it doesn't feel like value for me. Problem is, the market is out of control, and Chansiri may well have bitten off more than he can chew.

It is out of control especially domestically. There's been some obscene prices paid and there will be more on deadline day. The rest of Europe must look at us in dismay with the prices we pay each other for average or slightly above average players.

I agree with that  'whatever it takes' is going up by the day

Milan isn't daft. He probably saw all this coming. £32,000 per week for Hooper, until the end of the season, equates to probably every single penny of the season ticket revenue for this season, for a player that isn't ours, and for a player that isn't good enough for the Premier League.

The game has gone absolutely bonkers.

Bonkers indeed, pretty sure Milan is on record stating that the amounts involved in Championship football had reached a point at which they were beyond his level of wealth. I'm also pretty sure the kind of prices currently being paid are in excess of what Mr Chansiri would have anticipated, that said we do seem to be fairly shrewd.

Bid for Scott Taylor - never joining us in a million years.

Overweight, slow, knocking-on, Gary Taylor-Fletcher eventually signs as nobody else wants him.

Taylor Swift - not good enough for us.

Our recent history summarised by Taylors.

I like it, especially the ending with suggestions of a stitch up.
