F. Spiksley
We have missed a trick if he ends up at Derby. He is going to be a class manager. No, they get Clement... ... We get Ancellotti. We win.
theowlsman
Does the committee have input to who joins the committee? Or does Mr Chansiri decide who goes on the committee, and tells them to sort themselves out?
Tea Baggins
Don't know why but it really annoyed me when he used to sit in the stands every game. Then if things weren't going right, he'd come down to the touchline. Seemed very self serving and "Look at me!" Don't like him. Stick his brolly up his harris. SuperKevin
Great coach and we'd be lucky to have him. Gray deserves his chance at getting us promoted though.

Rogerwyldesmullet
The promotional opportunities (macbrollies, maclanguage courses, machairrestorer,) do not necessarily include promotion itself. In fairness I think he made the classic error of "adding premiership quality" before it was necessary by bringing in Bent and Ince and unsettling his team. Clearly can get a team playing on the front foot and clearly has good contacts within game for loans etc. that said, would think Owls move for him would feelnlike a sideways shift and probably feel the same for many of us. So overall it is a "no" from me.
matthefish2002
People want to get rid of Gray who finished mid table with a low budget for McLaren who finished just above us with a massive budget. Maybe if we had no manager would not be the worst choice but not worth sacking one for,

Beatpusher
I'd have him in a heartbeat, if Chansiri has made his mind up Gray is going...
SallyCinnamon
McClaren may play nice football. But where did Derby finish this season? Criminal they didn't get automatic promotion with the money spent, let alone not even make it in to the play offs. Proven failure twice now at this level. No thanks. SallyCinnamon
For Steve maybe but I'd say it's a thumbs up for Paul Clement. Derby seem to have a lot of Spanish connections at the moment. Had a couple of lads on loan from Madrid. Would be nice, but realistically not a coach we could attract.
parkerowl
My boss says Sean Dyche was in the box next to his for Derbys final few home games of last season. Says he didn't look like he was there to watch players.

matthefish2002
I would not get too excited if I was a Derby fan about Paul Clement. I don't think anyone can say if an unproven manager can be a success no matter how good a coach he is. Irvine, Brian Kidd, Terry Connor, Les Reed, Steve Keen. All highly respected coaches and all flops as a manager. Edited May 22, 2015 by matthefish2002

Definately, organising a good training sessionn doesn't mean he'll be able to fire a rocket up their butts if they're playing poorly
Orlando_Trustful
Clement must be off his nut, a job in Madrid or Derby. Tough one.
