Utah Owl
DOn't care what other fans think of it to be honest. It's what we think of it that matters.
F. Spiksley
http://www.the92.net/stats/overall/atmosphere#.VREU5h8gHCRbmb=1 Like that. And still 15th overall even in our current state of neglect. Class is permanent...
parkerowl
I assume you didn't go this year then? New away end is dangerous at HT As for the survey if it's measured by views, atmosphere and facilities then it's hardly surprising but as others have said I'd never swap it and with some attention it could easily be the best ground in the Chanpionship Yep I went, it was abit crowded but I still got for a wee wee at half time. it was busy but not Notts County standard. southportdc
Carrow Road is a decent contender. I've always been in the home end there though, so can't say for sure. Who knows what horror lurks in the away concourse?

Orlando_Trustful
I'm an old fan (season ticket for 40 years) and I think it's a s h1t hole.In what way? The fact the paint is a bit washed. The toilets are rundown. It's got an old scoreboard. The food and beverage facilities aren't modern. It's got old turnstiles. That's what makes a football ground for me; the character, the history, the tradition, the smell and the look and feel of a REAL football ground. Going to Pride Park is the same as going to St Mary's, going to the Ricoh Arena is the same as going to the Walkers Stadium, going to the KC Stadium is the same as going to the Liberty Stadium. I don't remember anything of note from visiting any of those grounds, they all morph into one. I remember things about visiting old traditional football grounds. Walking through the houses going to Oakwell, not going out to the industrial estate at the Ricoh. The slightly obscured view when sitting on the lower tier at the City Ground, not being sat in a perfect bowl stadium like the Walkers. Football grounds will all become like Baseball stadiums soon, purpose built shyte with absolutely no character, just the same nice shiny new seats and cladding. matthefish2002
I am surprised some people have said they like Brighton away. Must be most difficult ground to get to and parked near. I like countryside and I like football grounds but the two just don't go together for me. I much prefer the City Ground to Pride Park. Derby is just a really soulless place and like about 10 other grounds.
FuthaMucker
I like Amex best. Worst I've been to in this league is probably Brentford(good away day mind) It also said Wigan and Millwall were bottom two. Which I don't agree with at all.

Think the ground was actually specifically set up to encourage you not to drive there (e.g., train travel to ground included in match ticket)
Guest
It really wasnt this season, or the year we first got back to the championship. To be fair the atmosphere at Pride Park is one of the better ones of the new grounds, still preferred the Baseball Ground though. The Ricoh Arena is terrible for atmosphere compared with Highfield Road. Most of these new grounds are all the same and have no character or relation to the club at all, like going into a fast food place or a supermarket with everything set out in the same way, in the same place. Dull.

ViolaOwls
Think it was removed as it could been seen as bad taste on the anniversary yesterday. Not really the right day to be talking about Hillsboro stadium on this day.
