Manufacturing the shields as separate items that are sewn is easier (therefore cheaper to make) than embroidering it directly on to the shirt. I purchased one of the Diadora kits (Chuppa Chupps) from the Club Store and it has a white central stripe. Does this mean the club were selling knockoffs or were Diadora doing it wrong?
