Shame he facked up.Poor backpass but was wondering why he was that deep in the first place? Morrison certainly sorted himself out 2nd half but all the attackers were snuffed out 2nd half. Reyt surprised you've had a go at him. Started off ok today? His 1st half performance should have been enough to win us the game, quality touches, top class goal and an assist. His error has ended up costing us the game, no one on the pitch was more distraught than him about that, some seemed none too bothered at all throughout the game. Had we played properly then he would probably never have got into the position to make that error and had we defended properly then his first half performance would have been enough to win us the game. He was amazing in the first half Horrendous in the second though He was far from being on his own in terms of not performing in the 2nd half though, I think Gray got it wrong second half, to be fair to Maguire he gave his all but was clearly playing in an unfamiliar role. Mattock has played right-back plenty of times and although Lee obviously has too I think we would have been better off keeping Lee in the centre of the park, putting Mattock at right back and leaving Helan at left-back as he is much better going forward from the defensive role than he is playing as an attacking player. JJ was dire, Best didn't get involved, Lavery didn't do much, llera was as he has been for the past month and Onyewu wasn't much better. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lee A Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) He became less effective when we lost all of our creativity from wide areas ( seriously Helan is a defender, nothing else ) in the 2nd half and just started lumping it at him from everywhere, not sure what he was expected to do with it sometimes Great goal and some good work for the 2nd too, dreadful error for the winning goal though Mixed bag, but he's the least of our problems at the moment and the first half was very promising from him today, hopefully he can show a bit more of that next season Edited April 21, 2014 by Lee A Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
