Never had a sustained run with injury pre season and then everything done to accomodate Bothroyd and Barkley. Rodri has got a fair send off as it didn't work out but it never looked as though he wasn't trying. He put the effort in for the reserves when picked and his failure when used as a sub wasn't for lack of effort. He is a young lad who was willing to move to a new country and play in a league he probably had little knowledge of, one in which the matches are mainly played at a style and tempo he would be totally unaccustomed to.
