KivoOwl
Bywater - 7 (nothing to do) Buxton - 8 (solid) Llera - 8 (ditto) Beevers - 8 (like the Beevers of old tonight) D.Jones - 7 (one of his better games for us) Antonio - 7 (still a bit sluggish but getting there) Semedo - 8 (standard) Coke - 7 (very impressed) Pecnik - 6 (showed some nice touches but doesn't look cut out for it) Madine - 9 (man of the match. Won everything in the air, chased everything down. Wants his place back) Maguire - 6 (first half didn't look interested) Not sure Fulham were that bothered tbh. They got very dirty towards the end. Guest Walton
Hard to disagree with any of that - Madine was immense
Guest JonTheOwl66
Bywater - 7 - Made a decent save... But had nowt to do other than that. Buxton - 7 - Consistently excellent. Beevers - 8 - Getting back to his best. Llera - 7 - Very solid. DJ - 8 - Excellent all round, very pleased. Antonio - 7 - Gave them trouble all night.. Semedo - 6 - Usual stuff.. No nonsense. Coke - 8 - Could see him possibly displacing Semedo with performances like that.. Pecnik - 6 - Did naff all really. Madine - 9 - MOTM. Won every header against a fantastic centre back. Maguire - 7 - Won penalty and worked hard. Decent.

Guest TTOwl
Surprised to see Antonio only a 7 although I wasn't there - but he sounded good on the radio Great to see Coke put in a shift Edited August 28, 2012 by TTOwl
WayneTheOwl
You sure some of you went to the match? Semedo was immense, controlled that midfield. Impressed with Coke. Madine looked excellent tonight, not sure MOM but denied a second goal when flagged for offside when clean through despite the ball being played by a Fulham player. Antonio dominated his defender looked very impressive and took with wee wee at the end with Rodri! Pecnik weak link tonight but played on wing, defo not his best position! WAWAWUTO17
Madine man of the match? Give over! Only came into the game when he scored. Its between Antonio, Coke or Semedo for me
Guest GrahamHydeFanClub
Coke was excellant. Both madine and maguire need games but impressed by both. Playing a 2nd string prem outfit who can't be bothered isnt the same as paying a champ league game though. Very good though.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
Man of the match for me, was either Llera or Buxton, I thought they both looked quality against premiership opposition, Beevers had a good game too. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
Night King
Bywater 6 (Didn't have to do much) Buxton 7 Llera 7 Beevers 8 D Jones 8 (kept duff quiet) Antonio 8 (motm for me) Coke 7 Semedo 7 Pejnic 6 (Still not upto the pace yet. Keep the faith) Madine 7 Maguire
swfc-dan
Pretty much bang on in the OP post. Though I thought we saw more of what Maguires about in the 2nd, started seeing some good runs with the ball and his skill won us the pen. Thought Pecnic worked very hard too, just needs to try and do a bit more at times whether thats a killer ball or shot. God they were dirty towards the end, that Cruyff turn from Rodri was class and just got cropped! Absurd that no booking for it.
eckington owl
Antonio was my man of the match. He gave them a proper run around.
3mps
I feel like I was watching a different game, Pecnik worked his socks off, also slows down the attack when it needs to be imo so composed on the ball with great footwork, excellent save to deney him a goal. Guest foreverSWFC
Bywater 7- made a decent save, could have been more commanding at times in the first half, but Fulham didn't really trouble our goal. Buxton 8- Class again, solid at the back and offered a lot of support down the wing. Llera 8- Did well against Premier League strikers, solid and comfortable in possession. Beevers 8-See above, the defence was fantastic tonight and dealt with some class players effectively, a massive well done. Jones 7- Did alright considering he's not played much first team football recently. Solid and did a job, gave a few silly fouls away at times though. Antonio 8- A real threat in the first half, quick, tricky and troubled their left back no end. Faded in the second half, but probably his best game this season so far. Coke 8- Good performance. Never stopped running, good with the ball and made some decent challenges. Imposed himself on the game and controlled the midfield at times in the second. Impressed. Semedo 7- Typical Semedo performance, solid and reliable. Pecnik 6- Struggled to get into the game at times, faded in and out. But showed he has strength and has good ability on the ball. Think he will be a top player for us, has flair, but not convinced he's a winger. Maguire 6- poor first half, looked slow and off the pace. Much better in the second, nice link up play, worked hard and clever turn for the penalty. Took him off just as he was coming into the game. Madine 8- Very good tonight. Won a lot of headers and ran himself into the ground. Nice control of the ball and always available. Took his penalty well. Rodri 7- Came on, and was class running down the clock and wasting time. Guest contango
Wow did some of you not go, Madine was slow second to most balls until we scored, good pen. Antonio was immense and showed he is premiership class, Llera beevers both good and D Jones showed why we need to play a proper left back, semedo and coke bossed midfield. Thought bywater looked dodgy and should have come for a couple of crosses which he didn't and Kirkland would have. Rodri and Antonio held the ball up well at the end and completely killed the game off, really enjoyed it and great to see how Dave Jones has brought players on ie Coke and D Jones. Team is looking stronger and stronger
mozzy85
good team performance tonight and really happy with the clean sheet! defence was solid as was semedo. picnic did alright for me maybe a 7 just need more end product. Have to agree with maguire he didnt look sharp at all but was much improved in the second half. Lets hope we get a good tie next round
OxonOwl
Who'd a thought just three month's ago we'd be beating premier oppo with Coke and D. Jones in the team. Jones dealing with Duff? you wouldn't have thought it. Fair play to the guys and the whole team. UTO
jeffers9
I think most opinions of Petnik are a little harsh. For me he was better than a 6 and bearing in mind that he as moved to another country and doesn't really speak much of the language I have seen moments of class. By Xmas he will be superb!
