LichfieldOwl
Pacey wingers, ball playing midfielders, strikers who do stepovers and defence who mostly play the ball out. We have a lot of goals in our team at the moment and I'm loving it - this style of football with the right players is exciting!

WayneTheOwl
There is no style in our play. We appear to be able to play EVERY style. Build up play was there, passing across the wings was there, some long balls. A bit of everything which is the best way as the opposition haven't got a rogering clue what is coming next. camffiti
Much more like the style I've been hoping for, for decades ... just hope some don't start booing the ball retention / side passes, when we aren't winning
sweetsheri
For the past 15 years i could only dream of seeing players like Mccabe and Rodri at s6 Now it;s happened. Love it
Stoop
I'm not one to get carried away but that first half against a decent brum team, was the best football I've seen at hillsbro for many a year. It had everything, pace, power, goals, one touch two touch football, really impressive stuff

Bluesteel
I hope to see for myself on Sat. But how did it compare to that first 45 against the Dingles when we tore them a new one?

Guest Big Guns
We've got it all at the minit ,pacey wingers who can beat players with ease ,finally a midfield playmaker who can pick out a pass and dictate the game ,guile skill and strength up front ,a top top keeper And I've got to say beevers and Llera look solid... eDDie
For the last two years we built a Wilko-style RUN THEM INTO THE GROUND side. So we've got the fittest players around. Now we're adding some sublime skill and a pattern of play that relies on width and pace. It really is the perfect blend. Relentless is the word. theowlsman
All good stuff. Just need to tighten up at the back though, and continue to start games with urgency. These next few signings should cap it all off you'd hope. Did anyone listen to the piggy commentators on Radio Sheffield last night prior to the games kicking off? In response to Wednesday fans' optimism, they were trying to put a dampener on things by suggesting we were only good enough to finish 10th at best and should consider that a success. In response, I suggest they all twizzle on my my middle finger. Jealousy seems to be clouding their judgement.
sheffield_dave
For the last two years we built a Wilko-style RUN THEM INTO THE GROUND side. So we've got the fittest players around. Now we're adding some sublime skill and a pattern of play that relies on width and pace. It really is the perfect blend. Relentless is the word. This is exactly it. Megson built a side to get out of League One. A side built on size, power and physicality. Dave Jones has come in and added genuine quality to that with a new attacking philosphy, and he's getting the most of player - both new and old - in that system. 5 Live kept remarking how big our side was. Craig Burley was half way to an orgasm over how big Reda was at one point. To be honest, he turned up thinking thats all we were, just a typical big side coming up from a division below. Soon changed his tune though. They were full of praise for our passing, movement and attacking intent, as well as the fact that we can mix it up a bit in a physical game. We are going to be a real handful in this league and I can see us being a tough team to play against. We've got an almost perfect blend of hard working physical players and skillfull ball players. I think this team can literally set up anyway it wants to. Jones has a complete free run with the squad he's assembled. Very exciting times.
