"If he isnt good enough for them...."

Recommended Posts

This is the most annoying thing I keep reading on here.

To base not wanting us to sign a player because their current club no longer wants them is plain stupid as far as im concerned.

Just because a player hasnt performed well recently at a different club does not mean Dave Jones can not get the best out of them in OUR system and surrounded by OUR players.

Trust DJ and give the players a chance

Well let's look at Lee Chapman. Not good enough for either Arsenal or Sunderland, but what a job he did for us, Forest & Leeds afterwards. Sometimes the player is just in the wrong team at the wrong time.

I keep stressing Roberts refused to sign a contract, Huddersfiekd have said they have released him but technically he was a free agent. They offered him a contract at Christmas which he refused to sign. . Can't see what everyone's problem is we were all singing Roberts praises when Megson wanted to sign him. We have saved around £500k.

Good business all round IMO.

Llera

Lines wasn't in the Bristol Rovers side.

Bywater

Rob Jones

Add to that people that have left us over the years and done well.

Its all about whether the club and the player suit eachother.

Lines had played 46 games in 10/11 and thier first game of last season against afc wimbledon but all the others i agree with
