Chris_B_SWFC
Did anyone else at the match notice this today? It went on for a while, at least 15 minutes. Every time the ball went out and there was a break in play, JJ and Prutton were bickering with each other. No idea what it was, but I'm guessing Prutton wasn't happy with JJ's lack of effort in tracking back. To be honest, I don't think JJ should have been starting today. He was nowhere near fit and he looked scared of re-injuring himself. Glad he went off at half time - Palmer really took his chance today - but it was probably good for JJ to get that first 45 minutes back in the team. eckington owl
I saw a couple of players giving JJ a gob full. To be honest he shouldn't have played, he was obviously nowhere near full fitness, and Megson admitted that in his post-match interview.
Guest Sheff Owl
To be honest whatever 11 is playing if someone is not pulling their weight they need to be told. We seem to have a lot of talkers in the team now so there should be NO EXCUSES for team mates giving them a gob full if/when needed.
latemodelchild
JJ was garbage. He was getting pelters from every player pretty much. Was glad he went off at half time cos he wasn't helping himself or the team.
sonofbert2
I like positive "rowing" on the pitch. Players pulling others for not doing their bit. Long may it continue.
Guest Lawsy
yeah think it started when jj bearly moved and let a prutton pass go out of play... also heard megson shouting to prutton something along the lines on 'sort that flipping lazy bastuard out !!! think the right decision was made in bringing him off at HT we had much more balance in the second half and looked better as a unit

Paul..
I like positive "rowing" on the pitch. Was about to post the same, in the past JJ would just swan about and none of the others would care, they just went through the motions of their 90 mins, took their wages and fucked off home, now we have players who give a poo poo, take pride in what they do and what their colleagues do, long may it continue. Beholder
Pretty much word for word what i was saying. and me. I couldn't believe my eyes, he just kept turning his back on the play and walking in the other direction. He absolutely abysmal.

Hack-Abusi
Megson confirmed on the radio it was his fault playing JJ and that it was a mistake rushing him back ... looked WAY off the boil today JJ .. not surprising given this was his first competitive game back since the pre season friendlies

0114
To be fair I don't rate Prutton. Think he had one good game against Rochdale. And since then has done very little going forward or back. Lines needs a chance in the centre.
swfc261279
Must admit I was pleased to see him in the starting line up but with the benefit of hindsight it would have been better him coming off the bench later on - as will probably happen for the next couple of games... mattitheowl
I said it before and I'll say it again. JJ isn't the answer. We all wax lyrical about how we miss his speed and running at players but he can't control the ball and has no end product. Give me Palmer any day! Just not bothered... Bluesteel
JJ clearly wasnt fit. He will only get fit by playing games, when this happens he will be back to tearing teams a new ar$e hole. He tracked back more under Megson last season and I think he'll do it again when fit.
Lawrie Madden
Prutton, Jones, Bennett, Batth and Megson all quite rightly bollocked JJ he exposed Bennett more times than enough by his refusal to track runners
Guest bartos
Who was Morrison trying to have a go at when we got the first? Semedo had to restrain him, can only think it was Prutton as he gave ball away cheaply just before, wasn't impressed by Jesus today nor the last home game either. I'd like to see Lines and Semedo
asteener1867
Prutton put a couple of first class balls through..Morrisson was on his heels for one and Madine just offside for the other...admittedly it was not his best game, ..but he';s class...he's no Palmer obviously........
