theowlsman
I'm probably thick, but I can't see anywhere that it says he is signing for anyone yet. There's a marker in the sand with regards to the the fee that his club are inviting all potential buyers to match. Have we concluded our negotiations? Is that what you are telling us S26 Owl? Are you ITK? Strangely, this is an unnamed club, so nobody can substantiate, nor deny, any such bid. What if D&G are fibbing to try and bump the offers up, and we still believe we can get him for what we want to pay?
Auckland Owl
My link Both Peterborough and Charlton have been chasing the signature of the goalscoring midfielder, who netted 13 goals for the Daggers last term despite being relegated to League Two. Dagenham reportedly rebuffed bids from both clubs earlier in June, but it would appear they have found the latest offer too good to turn down. Posh had already seen two bids for the player rejected, but are still rumoured to be keeping a vested interest in the 22-year-old. Green arrived at Dagenham an unknown from non-league outfit Bishops Stortford in 2009, and helped the club to gain promotion to the third tier of English football for the first time in their history. Details of a possible fee have yet to be released for the player, but manager John Still will be looking to coup a significant amount as he looks to reinforce his squad in time for the new season. So annoyed that we've not got him, for once i thought that now we have the cash to spend we might be able to lure these young players with bounds of potential but obviously not, same old wednesday. Say goodbye to our promotion hopes next year because we've got teale or even sedgewick on the wing next season Accepted by a unnamed championship team, probably peterborough. but surely if we'd have just chucked a few hundred grand and offered him a decent wage he would've picked us instead of boro. 22 years old with tons of potentional and we would have definetly sold him for more than we bought him for and he would have really given us a shot at this league. Guess we've just gotta move on but i am absolutely gutted, slightly less confident about this season as i was when i thought milan was actually gonna use the money and spend it on decent players instead of the likes we've been linked with. At least you didn't rumbleing over-react.

alanharper
I blame Milan for Sheffield being too far north to attract southern puff players who want to stay down south.
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
We have some right drama queens following our club. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
Chris_B_SWFC
According to S26 Owl, the only wingers in the world are the ones we already have at the club, and Danny Green... What a tool.
Guest highamowl
Looke at me, Look at me!!! attention attention!!! The article says nothing, and who says we are still after him and have not identified another equally as good target??? Partial knowledge is a very dangerous thing as people refuse to look at the wider picture

Koper
"Well done Milan"? Are you for real? He's a business man, not a money tree. We can't financially compete with Championship clubs, no matter how big his bank balance is. Really good comment by the way
Guest johnowls
We wont pay stupid wages and fees,we will only pay good/decent league 1 money,it was odds on he would go to a championship club. Spending silly money got us in the poop before and look where it got us. I would have loved Green here and am gutted but one player alone wont get us up,trust in GM + MM
