Can always bring on wingers after 60min for palmer or a cb to push for a winner Agree with this, but Smith for Windass for me, he's been good since he's come back in and playing with a strike partner

If bernard fit could go 433 too, if smith starting ugbo woud be wide tho and smith not as big a goal threat imo Beadle Pol Iorfa bernard johnson palmer bannan vaulks Windass Ugbo Pato
Lionel Fessi
Not season over…yet. I expect results to go against us this weekend again, Rotherham will probably celebrate whenever they concede vs Birmingham & Huddersfield, Stoke & QPR all have massive home games I can’t see many points being dropped. Needless to say, we need a win. Not just for the points but that momentum going into the final home game with WBA (who may have already secured playoffs) will be huge. Big task Röhl, hope he doesn’t go too attacking from the off which has the potential to handicap us if we concede first. Beadle Johnson Famewo Ihiekwe Palmer Pol Vaulks Bannan Paterson Gassama Ugbo Hard to pick a team i feel confident in, Blackburn are a good attacking side so if we defend well and take our chances on the break (think Preston away) that’s how we win. Windass is in dire form, Smith works hard but not enough quality and Musaba is so hot/cold we never know what we’ll get.

Snelldog
Tricky to pick a team. I will go for: Beadle Palmer Famewo Ihiekwe Pol Vaulks Bannan Paterson Gassama Ugbo Smith Johnson and Windass were passengers against Stoke. Not fit and not up for the fight. Get on the bench. Southie_Owl
Yeah as others have said i would probably try and keep things tight from the start, and have Palmer sticking to Szmodics. Get to the hour mark all square as we did at QPR and then think about being more adventurous, with subs.. Beadle Iorfa Ihiekwe Famewo Pol Vaulks Palmer Bannan Johnson Smith Ugbo Subs: Dawson Diaby Pedersen Paterson Hendricks Gassama Musaba Windass Cadamerteri

MBMitchell
Why do people keep picking 2 upfront??? We haven't started any game like that??? Anyway as to above comments about Palmer on szmodics, I've seen too much Palmer standing still and pointing for someone else to get his man. So would prefer he didn't man mark the top scorer in the division. This would imo be fatal I don't like Ugbo on the wing, as he offers more goal threat than Smith, but I think DR has now set out his stall for him to play rest of season. I do want to see Pol out there and definitely Vaulks on Sunday
island owl
Beadle Icky, Diaby, Famewo Pol Palmer Vaulks, Bannan Pato, Gassama Ubgo We need Patos pressing, Ugbo is more of a goal threat than Smith and Gassama can add some pace up from Palmer better defending than Johnson. Need to keep it tight

Pieman
We have to keep it tight e.g. a clean sheet for 60/70 minutes, then subs will change the dynamic and get the goals. The initial team is mirroring QPR. Not pretty on paper, but a means to an end. Beadle Iorfa. Diaby. Ike. Famewo Vaulks. Baz Pol. Pato. Johnson Ugbo This side should be strong from set pieces. Then bring on Windass, Gasman, Musaba and potentially Smith to push for the goal.
Bigblueowl
Gassama and Musaba are impact subs. I wouldn’t start with either especially away from home.
Owlabroad2001
I really can’t decide. 1. 5-3-2 If we play this we have no dribblers and I think we need one of Gassama or Musaba 2. 4-3-3 the formation that gets the best out of Bannan, but Johnson and Valentin are awful full backs ( they are both wing backs) 3. 5-2-3 the formation we have been playing most of the season. Only problem is we get overrun in midfield Very difficult but I’d probably go the bottom one. Ugbo has been poor recently so him and Windass on the bench to hopefully come on and make a difference Beadle Valentin Iorfa Ihiekwe Palmer Johnson Vaulks Bannan Paterson Smith Gassama Subs: Dawson, Bambo, Pedersen, Famewo, Hendrick, Musaba, Windass, Ugbo, Cadamarteri

1952Owl
The BIG Question for me though is Marv!!!!! Maybe Ugbo starts with Pato and Bannan just behind him + Smith? SZMODICS danger danger danger!!!! START with below. 4 at back. Bambo an option instead Famewoo? As much as I like Röhl, his starting line ups are extremely random. Case in point, todays isn’t the best either.
