Popular Post BRADDO
For me, he's the worst Chairman in professional football. The club infrastructure is literally falling apart. 11
Popular Post sheffield_dave
I think Chansiri is the worst thing to happen to this football club in my lifetime, and that includes Dave Allen’s reign and the years of limbo that followed. I was more positive about the future of the club when there was an hour left at the high court. There was a clearer path towards stability at that moment than there is now. We are owned by a stubborn, clueless charlatan. A fascist and a petulant egomaniac with a paper thin ego who has made it perfectly clear he doesn’t respect anything any of us have to say. His ownership has been completely ruinous. He has taken assets away from us. There is no indication he is open to a legitimate sale or moving on, nor that he will take such a process seriously. The football club is broken and the owner is disinterested, disengaged, out of money and out of time. I think people need to seriously accept the possibility of any outcome at this point - including the club ceasing to exist. 37
Kentowl
Yes. He had the money which no other chairman or board has had and he's wasted it and made us much much worse on and off the field.
Miffed
It’s a tough one to answer Suing your own fans was a real low point in the clubs history. I can’t begin to imagine the emotional and financial stress it must have had on those involved. One particular fan was also dealing with a really big health issue at the time too. 6

Blue and white
Not only is he the worst chairman/owner in our history he is downright dangerous and seriously needs to go while we still have a club left to support. Londoner1867
I do wonder how different things would be if we didn’t sign Jordan Rhodes. For a start Winnall, a striker actually in form would have played for us, and we might have brought his mate Hourihane from Barnsley too. It was a very poor Championship that year and we were still so close. A different striker/the money better spent and I think we’d have got over the line. But DC was desperate to please fans on Twitter who begged him to sign Rhodes 2

SheffWed
Dave Allen was bad, but DC out trumps him by a country mile. DC didn’t have a clue from day one, 9 years later, he still hasn’t got a clue.

Agree I think he gambled in CC’s first season and we managed to put a good squad together where the players gelled quickly. Everything seemed to go downhill really fast for me from when we signed Rhodes

Incredibly he almost managed it but it's been downhill ever since. Don't think there was ever a back up plan and there still isn't.
Mr Farrell
Every aspect of the club both on and off the field has seemingly fallen into ruin. That in itself is criminal in my opinion. The fact that the supporters have financed the mismanagement by paying the most expensive prices in the country, you'd think would be the real crime. It isn't though. The real crime is the fact Chancer seems to accept no accountability or blame. Instead, he's repeatedly blamed the fans/bad customers. Unforgivable in my view. 4

SheffWed
That first season under DC he got ‘football’ people in. We brought in Adam Pearson, Glen Roeder and numerous others, I know some lasted longer than others, but I guess people couldn’t wait to jump ship. All these mysterious ‘advisors’, this strange link with Watford, it’s no surprise we are a shambles.
horny owl
When he first came here I mentioned my suspicions about him because of his superstitious Mumo jumbo. I think I’m the first Wednesday fan to publicly suspect that he was a fruit loop on here I can spot narcissistic scum a mile off Hate people like him 1
Popular Post Since 1971
Some fans state that Chansiri has invested a lot in the club, initially first couple of years and over recent seasons to keep us financially afloat. Other fans claim Chansiri hasn't invested at all. I certainly don't think he has invested in the club. Investment involves an idea, a plan for a return, a strategy with risk mitigation. It needs prudent, experienced professional advisors. Football is notoriously short of those folk but awash with the cockraoches and leaches associated with agents giving advice based on their own financial interest rather than their client. They make 1970s 2nd hand car salesman look trustworthy and reliable. Chansiri hasn't invested, he has simply spent money. Any idiot can spend money. Most sensible people with a good source of cash can invest and make that money grow. I dont think Chansiri has that basic common sense or ability. I don't know where the money came from or who's money it was. But I believe that source of cash has dried up now. Is he the worst owner we've had? We've had a couple of really bad ones. We've had some good ones, I remember criticising Bert McGee when he wouldn't back Howard Wilkinson but my God I wish we had someone like him in charge now. But overall, has any other owner: - Got us relegated due to a points deduction following financial mis-management? - Failed to pay staff including players? - Sold the ground out from under our club? - Burnt through so many managers? - Embarrassed us by asking fans to pay his businesses tax bill? - Messed about with the kit so much? No other owner even comes close to this idiot in terms of all.round incompetence, business failure, team standard and performance and embarrassment. 17
