Look at them goals, that first goal, all stood there, nobody going crazy, nobody pointing a finger, all looking at each other. No reaction at all.

Ikky was being pulled all over for their first goal. Not a whimper from him or any of the team.

I'd have thought it would focus their minds even more to fight and earn a contract

The rest is bang on

Do you think the vibe is that hard work pays off in that regard though? It looks to most of us like there's no rhyme or reason behind the contract situation other than churning out any old side for as cheap as possible, plus one or two bizarrely expensive loans. Hardly a great motivator.

Can't help with focus when you've got like 70% of your players not knowing where/if they're playing next season. Wednesday and Röhl reaping the rewards of a titanic b*lls-up behind the scenes once again.

We've no future with our current clown shoes at the tiller, on the pitch or off it.

Partly agree with you but the players have been told about this.  If anything their agent should be on alert.

Exactly the problem same every year with players out of contract

Not listened to it but I'm glad if he's gone nuts at them. Could be what's required.

They can do it when they want - it’s always on the players terms.

Before seeing that interview, it was almost as if Röhl and the team was ‘targeting’ certain games [ie at home] to pick up points but that’s a very dangerous strategy.

It’s still ‘doable’ but with games running out, no giving a shìt is inexcusable.

I would be surprised if Röhl is prepared to stay if most of those players stay.

If Röhl brings in his own players then he might want a crack at next season, whichever division we are in.

But - would league 1 warrant the current amount of coaches / back room staff [cost wise] that are perhaps justified in the Championship?

Would Röhl be prepared to work without the support of Chris Powell et Al?
