horny owl
Every Wednesday fan I speak to without exception love Danny He’s got our full backing It really feels like he’s got a free hit this season because even if we go down at least he had a crack at turning this sh!t show around instead of just rolling over For a Wednesday manager he’s in quite a unique position in that sense and he deserves it IMO

It won't belong until someone calls him a clown or clueless I'm afraid, yet the buffoon of a Chairman gets such an easy ride from some on here. Let's take a step back, consider how far we've come over the last few months and get behind the players and manager until the end of the season. I questioned his tactics and line up against Ipswich but that doesn’t mean I’m turning against him

It's complete light and day watching the teams from this to last season's team in how they play. I can't ever see it being as much toxic with how fans were at each others throats regarding Moores management. There will always be someone who disagrees with the masses and that and voices their opinion. It won't ever be stopped thanks to the internet but I can't ever see it picking any momentum Not that many years if you can’t remember the team from the early 90s attacking and entertaining more than this lot. Blue and white
Some people will blame everyone and anyone other than the route cause of the problem and that is quite clearly Chansiri. Saturday just highlighted how far we've fallen behind when you look at a team like Ipswich which is competing to get in the Premiership on the failed and the stadium and infrastructure off the field. We really are a shitshow of a club and our fans are being mugged off with extortionate ticket prices for a substandard product.
jamiej
I think nearly all our fans like Danny I think nearly all believe he has done a great job with little to work with , both what he inherited and what he was allowed to bring in . That we have a chance and a good one at that of survival is remarkable and if we do it will be up there as one of our greatest achievements but that doesn’t mean we can’t get frustrated with performances and results like yesterday . I think Danny like most youngsters is an idealist and given better players would be justified in sticking to his principles , he needs to and will learn you have to play ugly at times and I believe any criticism is more out of frustration than genuinely turning against him
MF TAZ
He’s won me over but we’re in the relegation zone and losing 6-0 to Ipswich so I’d be stunned if people weren’t questioning him
4evaowl
It shows how popular and respected he is already that after a 6-0 humiliation fans still back him. I think he’s got something about him that will be right for us in the long term but there has been, and will be, disasters along the way.
Lemi_the_owl
3 hours ago, BridportOwl said: Our goal difference is so bad that getting battered yesterday doesn't really make anymore difference from only getting beat 1-0. No but do you go into a game against a team that score for fun with an ultra attacking lineup and be 1-0 down after 15 minutes, 3-0 down by half time and the heads go down. Or do you go with 5 at the back, try and stay solid and play on the counter. With the hope that the longer you stay at 0-0 the more confidence it gives your team you can nick a goal and win it. I love Danny but he got it wrong yesterday. Ipswich clearly weren't the team to go out and attack just because our goal difference doesn't matter. Just need to learn game management sometimes.

JohnnyQuinnsQuiff
If….we go down. They’ll be plenty on OT saying that “we should have brought in Colin”. Of that I’m certain. I won’t be one of them though.
Animis
It's a binary world we live in. However, most posts on here regarding the club; team and manager are fairly balanced. It's never easy losing 6-0, but most fans would have considered the last 2 games as right-offs before they started. I don't think we have the players to deal with high-tempo, quick and quality opposition unfortunately - DR can't be held responsible for that. It's now business end and we need to pick up results against those around us - do that and stay up, DR will receive nothing but praise from me. Even coming close would be an achievement from where he found us.
Road Runner
He got it wrong Saturday, similar formation to Southampton, Huddersfield and 1st half against Leicester and has to take the critical and non critical views. He actually did and took full responsibility for it and explained it. Just because someone is critical of the situation it doesn't mean they want you to fail or hate you, it's just life. Credit where credit is due on those 4 wins and new formation that worked. But he pumped at the weekend and hopefully learns. I still want he him here for next 10 years, it was on him Saturday and he rightly took the responsibility for it. Looking for something that doesn't exist.
