Popular Post We are all Wednesday
That is it. I question the decision making of this manager if he is left out of the squad and Fletcher starts. Gregory would hold it up and link it up better, oh and score goals!!! 9 2

We are all Wednesday
Not really sure what is funny to be honest. It is obvious. 1
Dunkstar
Gregory is where he should be at this level, not in the squad. Fletcher being poor does not somehow make Gregory good enough.
Emerson Thome
I wouldn't mind seeing Gregory on the bench for the last 20 minutes. But his legs aren't up to leading the line at this level as a lone striker.
We are all Wednesday
He is better than Fletcher and would offer more so not sure how this is not bad decision making? Gregory is the age and ability he is but he has done and good job for us and could help more than Fletcher. I think leaving him out is disrespectful to be honest.
S72 Owl
Gregory and Smith can’t press. Our whole game is built around a high press. This is why they aren’t involved. We’re too easy to play through when they play. 3
Luke
Gregory hasnt been seen in months but still has more goals than fletcher this season Says it all
andypandy
He is probably at home, like me, watching the Brentford v Forest game, but I doubt he had a chippy tea with Hendo's like moi !

We are all Wednesday
I think some on here believe the hype - Gregory is better than Fletcher. Simple. I think Gregory would press as well as Fletcher but actually hold the ball oh and that thing, score every now and again.

Cadz is extremely good but doing so much pressing and being lone striker must have been exhausting.

Strikers cannot afford to be exhausted by pressing and incapable of the quick burst and physical energy to fight off defenders.
We are all Wednesday
We need goals and Fletcher won’t get them or any it seems.
Kevowls1
Certainly more of a goal threat than Fletcher. Don't really see why Röhl picks him. Prefer to start Cadamarteri and bring on Gregory for the last 20. Better still, we need to buy a striker desperately!
4evaowl
I suspect he's on a contract where appearances may trigger a contract extension otherwise it's madness not to have him on the bench at least.
We are all Wednesday
Amazing response to this - clearly about nodding along now without question. Gregory as an option off the bench as a minimum is a no brainer. 2

Fletcher being poor does not somehow make Gregory good enough. According to whoscored.com, Gregory has played 719 minutes in the league this season and Fletcher 588. One has got a goal and the other an assist. Arguing that one is a significantly greater threat than the other on that basis seems to me to be pretty lamentable.
