Not just saying it because we finished 3rd, we got through last week after all, but I think they should scrap penalties in the play offs, the team that finished higher in the league should go through if scores are level after extra time. I think managers miss a trick when selecting goalies for penalties. If I were England manager I’d genuinely look at taking somebody like Dawson who is a good penalty saver rather than just sticking with your best all round keeper in net. for example De gea never saves penalties, why do Man Utd leave him in net in a shoot out?
