Appreciate it is hard for us mere mortals to accept, but he isn't going to take a further plunge just to sign with Spurs and play in the PL. PSG have some fantastic players, but I don't think playing week in week out in Ligue One does them any favours. Appreciate Lille won the title last season, but the overall standard isn't great week to week. Are these top players challenged enough? And no, La Liga was/is far better than Ligue One. What should he do? Ronaldo went to Juventus - a team that has won the league about 8 seasons in a row and the double most seasons. You've got four top leagues in the world - England, Spain, Italy and Germany. After that, you are probably looking at the French even though it's not great. England, at present, is the strongest league, but that hasn't always been the case. The PL is generally dominsted by a few top teams. Liverpool and City have had it sewn up past few seasons. Juventus and Bayern Munich have dominated their leagues the past few seasons. I agree the top leagues are generally dominated by 4-6 top clubs. But la liga under those tip 6 teams is pretty poor. Whereas the other leagues are much better quality.
