Next season's shirt design - how about this?

Not only comes down to whether Adidas or Nike shirt, the actual sponsor is a major factor in sales. Do you really want to be associated with that company.

Popular companies for Man Utd. for example;

We'd end up with either of these

Funny isn't it.

Stick an ADIDAS or NIKE motif on this seasons current shirt and people would be going mad for it.

100%

Which is why the decision not to do it is out of touch with basic retailing

If you're not a retail genius probs best trying not to try and go against what works in retail

Would be interesting to know sales figures of the Elev8 one with their increased profitability vs an Adidas one with increased demand from those who like their brands and see which one would have

a) sold more

b) brought more profit into the club

You see ... if they did something like this it would renew my faith in the club.

this shirt screams Sheffield Wednesday not Chansiri FC

take note ... if you want to save our club and your investment this is all it needs to snowball us back to a proper club.

it really is this simple ... for now.

I guess it's all down to unit cost to buy em in at

IF the Adidas ones could be done for cheaper than Elev8 he'd be mad not to as they'd sell bucketloads just for the switch to Adidas

Doubt they could tho

You need to talk to our former commercial manager

What I would say is this

Imagine we brought out an Adidas kit

Now let's say that excites fans in a more positive way than an Elev8 product by let's say just 5%

That's 5% more positive

Now - let's say we revised our ticket pricing, we did some amazing promotions to bring friends, re-invite lapsed fans, we got rid of the word 'megastore' on our shop and threw away all the tat it sells and replaced with absolute quality stuff and Adidas tops and merchandise and sorted out the online shop so it looked, felt and operated in a really cool innovative exciting way, we sorted out the matchday catering by building some new facilities on the Kop at the very least, and we brought in local brands and companies like Bere's, Twisted Burger Company etc

Let's say we did that and each one added even just a 5% uplift from the fans in terms of perception, positivity, buy in, credibility and professionalism

All over the club you'd be having loads of little wins like that

It would all add up to one big big improvement in 'perception' of our club

Perception is how you build trust in a brand, how you get buy-in, how you build PRIDE

Build pride and trust and you don't just sell more Adidas shirts, you also sell more burgers, beers, memberships and tickets

If you do none of that and just bring out an Elev8 shirt then....

Very nice. Definitely better without names emblazoned across the front, though I suppose we will need a sponsor(s).

Would prefer a sponsor that has a little bit more money than this one though
