Wasn't aware of this, but Kieran Lee signed for Bolton Wanderers and just this week made his debut, Jan 13th, in their 1-1 draw v Exeter.

Wonder if he could just as well have made as significant a contribution to our club still, well aware of him being quite injury prone at his age.

Cardiff set to sign Crawley striker Max Watters. Looks a very useful lower league player.

He does this season, though he didn’t previously. Watched him in a couple of games recently, and he does seem the real deal. Looks like one of those strikers who most clubs covet, someone who can play up front on his own, able to hold the ball up, but at the same time, able to create chances for himself. What sort of fee are Cardiff paying for his services?

Any more 30odd year old league 2 footballers who have missed a number of seasons worth of football over the last few years do you think we should take a punt on?

haven’t seen a fee mentioned. Can’t imagine it would be crazy money. Type of player I feel we should be in for. We are desperate for players up top.

And the cider.... It's all about the cider

Yep, several specialist cider only pubs around. The best one is near the harbour called the Orchard.... They  do great food and a huge array of ciders but best to stay off the 7.0 abv tho!  That’s real head banging stuff.

Arrh been in the orchard and sampled a few tipples...... Made my own cider from scratch last autumn for the first time. Not a bad tipple at all. About 9%. 2 pints and you know you've had a drink 6 pints and you can't remember owt the next day.

9% is way too strong for me. I stay away from any cider over 6% and even three pints of that  is plenty. Definitely not a session cider!

We have one down here called Stowford Press on draught which is a lovely session cider. Not sure if you get it in and around Sheffield.

He'll be way out of our price range. I'd guess at £2M minimum with performance success and sell on clauses.

hes absolutely bang on top form and his price will only go up.

Yes we've got stowford press and thatchers which is also a decent drink. My favorites are healys "rattler" and orchard pig "reveller" but very rare you get my favorites on draught

Haha, forgot Bolton were league 2, thought they were "just" below us. Besides; not talking about other 30odd footballers, but Kieran Lee here... was a very clever player in our midfield whose remaining time with us was riddled with injuries. Was not saying we *should* sign him again, but was wondering if he could've coped on this level, because from what I've seen of those we signed as replacements, I'm not yet convinced (Brown, Kachunga, etc.) Luongo has been great, but is out with injury again... Windass too, but also out with injury.

Josh Sims, think we've been linked with him in the past.

Not really a rumour, just a suggestion. Returned to Southampton from a loan spell at Doncaster. 23 year old.

Played 12, Assists 7, Scored 1.

Also Zohore has returned to WBA from his loan spell with Millwall.

Didn't zahore get injured for most of his time at Millwall?
