What striker/s do you think Pulis has lined up for us?

Recommended Posts

Jonathan Kodjia.

31

6’3

Left Villa for Qatar last season cos he wasn’t good enough in the Prem.

Scores a goal every 200 mins.

Bristol C fans liked him but said he was greedy. Well that’s fine here cos there’ll be no stripey blue shirt anywhere near him.

He doesn't look 6ft 3 maybe he uses the same tape measure as 6ft Kieran Lee

What’s happened to Hugill since his move to Norwich ?

Don’t think we’d get him but he’s exactly the type of player Pulis would love here.

He out muscled and out thought our centre halves when he came to Hillsborough with QPR.

Yes he looked useful that day.

Somebody playing abroad who has Championship experience like Kodija

Afobe - but he's on loan from Stoke in Turkey so how does / can  that work?

Oliveira - ex Forest and Norwich now at AEK but out of contract next year

Pulis' knowledge and contacts should be a plus but who will join a relegation threatened Championship club ?

Bakary Sako could be a wing option but Dave and Hutch probably had a word in his ear to put him off !

Cash is key and we wont have any idea where we are until we start seeing some movement

This is a really tricky one. We have to be aiming higher than anything that is available now, in the lists of out of contract players. If not, we might as well get someone in now. Do we have money available to bring in a notable striker on a permanent basis? If we’re looking at a British player, anyone decent is going to cost at least 5m. Even if we could secure a top quality loan striker, we may have to pay a substantial loan fee.

Gestede on loan and Sharp on a free from them next door. Stick your dough on it.

It’s difficult to be critical of any suggestion, when all the suggestions are better than what we currently have, nothing. However, none of them keep us up if we’re in a similar position come January.

Let's test Blackburn and go for Armstrong.
