He had the opportunity to take us to the next level and didn’t through fear of upsetting his new paymasters. If he had kept Big Ron on the second time and not let him go just out of spite, we would be a very different club to what currently exists. DC has taken over a business that has been failing for 2 decades, yes he’s made mistakes but I’m afraid the demise of Wednesday lies at the feet of Richards and no one else In what way was the business failing under Mandaric? We were midtable in the championship and comfortably operating within the limits of FFP. We weren’t exactly a thriving business under Milan but we weren’t failing either

You go on about DC gambling but he is doing so with his own funds not the funds of the shareholders like Richards did. Club doesnt have any money now either. Or a ground to boot. Money spent by DC he can still aportion to the club as loans and we have to pay him back. He is still spending money the club cant afford to carry. Still living beyond the clubs means. 1

I’m interested to know how far wrong would it have to go before those people stop backing him? Not a dig, just curious. Just said the same myself.

The club's sole owner is DC so it's his money not the clubs, no shareholders just an owner. If DC wants his money back he will tag this onto the price of any sale if he chooses to or chooses to sell. DC has plenty of money he's just not allowed to spend it under P&S rules.

Which makes the club unsaleable. Nice position to be in. A clueless owner. No board of directors to steer the ship. No ground and a club you cant sell. Sounds fantastic. Way to go DC. Really. So if he left, the ground would still belong to the club would it? Or would it belong to a 3rd party?

To be pedantic, the club is also in somebodies name. The same name as the ground, is all be it they are two different companies they are still owned by the same person. 1

Just boosts the asking price higher. What did he say £180 million? Playing squad worth what, say £10 mill at a push. Ground £60 mill, or more like £25 mill in reality. Business income negligible. £180mill sounds like a bargain...........
