Odubajo, reach, Palmer thorniley can all play there 

 

if it’s a transfer bringing in funds I’d sell we need better and I’m sure one will arrive in January or failing that penny will be recalled in January 

 

even if he turned into Roberto Carlos fox would still get slated by someone here best for everyone to part ways 

 

only question is have we got enough cover until January, can we pick up a free transfer for a few months?

He's had a bad start here Odubajo but he has been a good player at this level for Hull and Brentford, wouldn't be writing him off yet.

Fox has been decent for the last 6 months or so, he's one of those if he goes good luck to him and if he stays then I'm equally as happy. I think if he wants to go then let him, he deserves it after the s*it he's had here.

Two full backs who can play left or right, plus Iorfa and Thorniley who can operate at full back, or centre back. If the idea was to operate a smaller squad this season, we should have enough cover

If this bid came in before Tuesday’s game, everyone would be happy to sell, because he got 12 people jeer his name pre match, then he’s suddenly become a valuable asset.

Agree. From January onward he's done what's required when called upon.

In his last year,this maybe the only decent offer we get, so a chance to get some money in, save wages ref FPP.....plus, if her really wants to go then let him, no point having someone who wants to leave.

A left footed left back who's always fit and available is an asset.

Suspect he doesn't want to leave as much as some want him gone.

Wonder if there's a recall clause on Penney if things get desperate, also is there any decent left backs still without a club? Seems unlikely at this stage.

Apparently we have the option to bring Penney back.... in January.
