Yes that’s true - when he died his manger who took 50 percent of his earnings throughout his career said “ this changes nothing” he signed him up to ridiculously long engagements in Vegas - two shows a day for months on end all because he was a degenerate gambler and owed the casinos loads of money - very sad .. With a good manager we could have been right up there this season even missing some of our best players for the majority of the year. Said it all along, it's been poor for a good few years now and we have missed 2 golden chances to go up. If only we had another 5 games I would back us for the play offs but sadly the games are running out for this season. If the Pigs start showing any signs of staying up and we are anything other than top 6 the vultures will start circling. Only problem is I can't see that we have a Plan B should Bruce fail. Absolutely... rueing our lost opportunities v West Brom twice, Villa, Leeds, Norwich... been a season of a lot of margins not going our way. It was always a stretch making the infamous squeak / play offs this season and as it looks, being able to finish 7th or 8th is amazing consider what a dire state we were left in due to CC and JL.
