I didn't know 1 year old's got on the nerves of the general public.

Whilst I wouldn't be quite as aggressive about it as Torres, there's nowt worse than other people's kids! Just 1 or nearly 2 can make quite a difference though.

If you can give us the exact age, we will be able to accurately dictate to you exactly what you can and can't do with your own children!

No, 1 year olds are great and lovely to see them out and about enjoying themselves

some clown taking them to a match can be a bit of a pain in the backside though

Keep asking for advice, happy to help

You could always use common sense though to save you typing out the question

F00k waiting until it’s 1 year old... I’m taking mine when it’s 3 months latest... and I’m going to make sure I’m sat next to you. Then I’m going to wind it and have it puke all over you. Might even empty the contents of its nappy round your gums.

Wanted to take my 1 year old son to the Friendly against Villarreal with it being a more relaxed atmosphere and lower attendance. Recently his 1st Birthday was going to go into the shop and pick up the new mini kit for him and whatever gifts/toys would be suitable for a 1 year old, followed by meeting the players and a few picture opportunities around and inside the ground. With him being 1 year old I think his attention span would of lasted about 45 minutes maximum (If lucky) and would of made our way home at half time.

We would of been travelling on public transport down from West Yorkshire and making a day of it, so in advance I have emailed the club to check if there is any storage options for a pram or somewhere we are able to leave the pram during the match (45 minutes if not less). Unfortunately there is no storage facilities for prams or baby carriers and neither are allowed in the stadium, this is due to stadium regulations and health and safety reasons. Which in turn would mean carrying my 1 year old son all the way from West Yorkshire.

I later received an e-mail explaining that the hospitality package would be available at £50 per person and 25% discount for the little one, as they could take me upstairs and we would be situated in a box and the pram is now allowed into the ground.

Has anyone taken their 1 year old to the stadium before and occurred these issues?. To state prams are not allowed into the stadium due to health and safety, but then proceed to tell me if I  handover best part of £80-£90 then they are allowed seems contradicting.

If anyone could offer advice or any ideas that would be appreciated.

Wanting to spend money at the match and in the club shop and bring a new Wednesdayite into The` Wednesday family, but if i am not willing to spend extra money on hospitality then this isn't allowed.

Go for it mate. Don’t listen to the morbid cu.nts.

Where there's a will there's a way.

The club don't offer storage-wouldn't expect them to.

Prams are or could be an obstacle and are banned under HS&E regs, can see the point there.

Ring the corner shop up on Vere Road and ask them to store it for you for a fiver, jobs a good un.

Some bells on here get him taken if you want pal he probably won’t remember or understand but you can tell him his first game was one of the top Spanish sides at Hillsborough. Family enclosure probably won’t be open but the south will be quieter.

some people’s attitudes on here are worse than the clubs on the matter

How old is too old for Hillsborough,  that's what I want to know.

If you can remember Frank Casper scoring for rovrum at Hillsborough one night where it pissed it down all game then you're too old and shouldn't be attending games

Why is it a pain in the backside?.

He has sat through 40 minutes of Rugby League (Not his or my choice) on his own seat without any fuss, he did have a rattle though. Shall I take the rattle away?, is that what the pain in the backside is?.

Don't think you'll be helping with half time nappy change either be sounds of it.

If i didn't believe my son could sit through 45 minutes of football without causing distraction or annoyance to other paying fellow Wednesdayites I wouldn't even be considering going to a friendly game.

it's more about the pictures for memories sake and getting the new kit.

But you do seem to know my son better than me, always said he doesn't have much resemblance to myself. Your not a Postman in the West Yorkshire region are you?.

It's a friendly with two stands open, not first league match of season or Millwall away.

Took my youngest in a couple of times when she was a baby in a sling. Was kind of pointless at age if I am honest.

My youngest wanted to go at age 1 because she wanted to do what her older sister did. She was nearly two though so probably nearly double your lads age. Took her to a couple of JPT games when they were a quid for kids.

Got two of those wrist reigns and tied them together attached one end to her wrist and the other to my belt loop. Obviously held her hand but that way she couldn't wriggle loose.

Seemed to work, she was a season ticket holder by age 3. Though she did give up at age 9.

I think it’s great that you’re takling your kid to a game! Suggest one of those baby carriers - that would work fine.

A little bit disappointed by the club that it’ll cost you 80 pounds just to get in for s friendly, though.
