Guest Arcadianrocket
What did Tuesday night tell us? Kieran Westwood is certainly required next season. Liam Palmer should be released and we need a better right back to compete with Hunt. Jordan Thornily (people won't like this) is not good enough. Adam Reach mentality is very concerning. One bad touch or pass in the first 10 minutes usually means he will go on to be rubbish. Pelupesy is League 1/2 Standard. Jos does not inspire much confidence. Any manager would have kept this team up, for me he has done a mediocre job.

Any manager would have kept this team up, for me he has done a mediocre job. It told me Kieren Westwood's retention will hold back the development of two of the best young keepers seen at Hillsborough for decades. Liam Palmer is not adequate cover for Hunt. Needs to get fitter and go back to his original position in midfield where we are short of players. Jordan Thornilly is a young player who needs a leader alongside him to guide him through his first season at a new level. Adam Reach is out of gas having played too often in unaccustomed positions. Too early to judge Pelupessy. Jos has been handed a situation that Pep Gardiola would have struggled with. MOST but not just any manager would have kept the team up. There are JUST enough good players available to see it through, and the manager should be judged on his performance after a full pre season and summer transfer window.

outlaw pete
Tuesday night once again showed that our away support is second to none. Great turnout on a Tuesday night in the capital. 4-0 down no booing just support for the team. OK we lost 4-2 yet the players left the pitch to a rousing verse of High Ho Sheffield Wednesday. One day we will have the team our supporters deserve. UTO and see you at Hull.
