Would also like to get rid of Fletcher and Loovens if we could find anyone stupid enough to take them but unlikely. Where has Rhodes done anymore than Fletcher? Rhodes is available to play Fletcher for the last 4 months has not been. Lets see the next few weeks of Rhodes playing week in week out and getting service - I personally think we will all be thinking we have got the player of 2 years ago. Fletcher on reportedly £35,000 a week is a waste of money and need getting rid of.
cookeh
It's based on the assumption that we stay with 352 as our formation. In terms of positions: GK: Wildsmith, Westwood, Dawson = Fine. CB: Lees, Venancio, Pudil, van Aken, Loovens = Well short. We need at least one starter if we're to stay with 3 at the back. RWB: Hunt, Palmer = Fine. LWB: Reach, Fox = Feels short. Reach may well stay in center mid, and Fox doesn't look like he's quite good enough. Loan is ideal. CDM: Hutch, Jones, Butterfield = Short. Bringing in Pelupessy solves this nicely CM: Lee, Bannan, Boyd, Wallace, Abdi = Fine once they're fit. Bringing in a left back lets up keep Reach here until the rest are back. ST: Rhodes, Hooper, Fletch, Matias, Joao, Nuhiu, Nando = Overstocked. Fletch looks the most likely to be moved on. So for me, we need a centerback, defensive mid (hopefully pelupessy) and a left back on loan. Since we're not playing with a right winger, there's no immediate requirement to bring one in. gurujuan
We need to be careful here, as tactics, and the injury situation, clouds the issue For example, if we are to continue with the 4-4-2 set up, we already have 5 players for 2 places, all permanent The problem is, three are out injured Also, 6 permanent central midfielders is too much, and will end up making the squad even more bloated, than it already is If we play a central three, then the redundant wingers can be thrown into the mix Realistically, we need to ship a few out from all departments, even if that means that we have to occasionally throw in the youngsters If not, it has to be loans
Guest wilyfox
If Pessy signs, Buttercup should be returned to Derby. Rather see Clare given a go than him if we're caught short.

dani_armo
same players weve needed for about 2 years....full backs, big strong CB, a hutch type who can actually play most week and wingers got too many weak links like fox, loovens (age), van aken (looked poor), palmer, jones, butterfield, matias, wallace (age), nuhiu etc but i suppose at the moment they are all we have fit

ashamanic
If we are going with 3 at the back, then we need at least one CD. Loovens seems past his sell by date, and Pudil doesn’t belong there except as emergency cover. Elsewhere, to really challenge LB and RB, though in this formation, Reach seems a natural fit.
