Not good enough. Need better if we want automatic promotion.

But how does that make sense?

A four-time promoted player not good enough to help us get promoted?

A player who in his last nine matches as our CM has helped us to five wins and four draws? That's a 97 point season!

To be fair, the Wednesday comments aren't far behind!

I think we have been more 'cutting' at times especially with Ched Evans etc. So we really cant complain about the crap we are going to get back. We have made a laughing stock of ourselves lately. I don't mean with SWFC but Owlstalk.

Telegraph reporting Rhodes is no available for 7 million! Surely that is a load of crap.

Wolves are in a late summer battle with Sunderland to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes, according to a report.

The Telegraph claims that the Owls are willing to sell Rhodes, 29,for £7million after he missed out on a spot in the starting line-up for their last three Championship fixtures.

The Mirror previously reported the 14-times Scotland international would cost £12million, but Wednesday’s asking price is now understood to have been slashed by almost 50 per cent down to £7million with just two days left to go of the transfer window.

Wolves appear to still be in the hunt for a proven goalscorer, and Rhodes’ Championship record suggests that he could be the man to lead their attack as they look to earn promotion this season.

He's not 29 for a start.

Would be suicidal to sell to a championship rival!

Could easily see him getting 25+ goals for wolves!

You can argue as to why, but he has been poor for us and we don't need him.

Who else is going to buy him apart from a championship rival?

£7 million could buy us the defender and defensive midfielder we need.

Absolute no brainer for us.

I can't see any of our other strikers scoring 20+ goals for us but I actually could see Rhodes doing that if we create the chances for him.

Rhodes is the best goalscorer in the division. He offers work ethic, fantastic aerial ability, terrific movement in the box and an instinctive, almost unconscious, ability to just flat out score goals.

It would be absolute madness to sell him.
