I think we have been more 'cutting' at times especially with Ched Evans etc. So we really cant complain about the crap we are going to get back. We have made a laughing stock of ourselves lately. You can argue as to why, but he has been poor for us and we don't need him. Who else is going to buy him apart from a championship rival? £7 million could buy us the defender and defensive midfielder we need. Absolute no brainer for us. Rhodes is the best goalscorer in the division. He offers work ethic, fantastic aerial ability, terrific movement in the box and an instinctive, almost unconscious, ability to just flat out score goals. Need the money for other areas of the team and for whatever reason the signing hasn't worked out. Rhodes might scoring in time but cant wait forever and squad need freshen up a bit.
