I don't get why a few people have Norwich top.

Newcastle

Wednesday

Brighton

Wolves

Norwich

Derby

Fulham

Burton

Rotherham

Cus they think that's where they'll finish. I don't think Fulham will be top 3, but wouldn't question why squirrel does, it's each persons opinion mate. Fwiw I would have Newcastle, Norwich and us battling for top 2 spots, but as I say it's just an opinion. UTO!

Fair enough pal I'm not bothered. Just wondered why as I don't agree.

I don't think they have the right mentality, I think their defence is patchy, and as it stands they haven't signed anyone to make up for the fact they struggled for goals last season.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few more leave before the season starts.

Too difficult when you consider that the transfer window is till open and a lot could happen between now and the end of the month.

There really hasn't been much transfer activity in the Championship though - with the exception of Newcastle. I don't whether players are biding their time to see what options are available, but it's all a little quiet. Very few clubs seem to have strengthened much.

1. Newcastle

2. Norwich

3. Fulham

4. Brighton

5. Wednesday

6. Huddersfield

7. Derby

8. Aston Villa

9. Brentford

10. Forest

11. QPR

12. Leeds

13. Birmingham

14. Ipswich

15. Preston

16. Wolves (???)

17. Barnsley

18. Reading

19. Cardiff

20. Wigan

21. Bristol City

22. Blackburn

23. Rotherham

24. Burton Albion

Fulham?

I can see Jaap Stam having an early Christmas break TBH.

I think one way or the other, can't see them being a middle team this year. He's quietly done a big clearout and re-build. No one expects much from them either

Just curious why you have Fulham to finish 3rd. Do you know something we don't? They've lost McCormack AND Dembele and nobody knows yet if that money will be reinvested.

We'll fair enough, if they have a plan and back him then so be it.

Can't believe Reading, Leeds and Huddersfield are doing so well.

Thought Reading would be challenging for a play off spot to be fair, but Leeds and Udders just aren't faultering.

Hope they pick up some suspensions and injuries soon as I don't think they have the squad depth we have. But I thought they would have fallen off a bit by now but they keep coming back.

I'm more concerned with Norwich and Villa than I am about Leeds and Huddersfield (I think they will struggle with squad depth)

Norwich were in about this position last time and flew in the second half of the season. They will have the funds to have a go in Jan as well

Totally agree
