Poor defending, bring in experienced championship promotion winning defender. Lack of support for the striker, bring in exciting attacking midfielder guaranteed to get assists and score goals. Now its not going our way people are panicking Yeah the usual owlstalk doom mongers so what? New manager, new team, new owners and people expected it to gel straight away and wed be Barca? DC said 2016/2017 coz even he, with no football knowledge apparantly knows you cant change a club from top to bottom and expect it to work straight away, just a shame he seems to have more knowledge than half of owlstalk You realise we've probably spent more than boro ? Were you expecting champagne football every game, 5-0 wins each match and putting every team to the sword? Please get a sense of perspective. Yes we lost, but against probably one of the better teams in the division. Performances will improve, and it's still very early in the season. They have gelled and are now a threat . No team ever makes 14 signings, changes the whole structure of the team and ends up top 6. they have a manager who understands this divisions football better than ours... and they're UP FOR IT... Now its not going our way people are panicking Fans are being asked to pay the highest ticket prices in the league allegedly to fund a team filled with quality players playing 'exciting, attacking football' and mounting a genuine promotion challenge. Plus, look at the differance in wage budgets for the last few years between us and Boro. We are playing vatch up from the last 15 years on and off the pitch in like, 3 months.
