Highlights on Channel 5

Lets face it any Football League show is hamstrung by the time of the programme and the amount of games, due to the time you can't really have any lengthy debate about the games.

Personally didn't have a problem with the Football League on the BBC apart from when it used to go walkies over Christmas.5 are going a different way, fair enough. I thought the first week was terrible, the second was better but its a work in progress.

If you want in depth highlights then the club use YouTube, if you want a snapshot of the goals and maybe 1 other incident then these shows are fine.

This was always the argument in support of Claridge. The ability to give an opinion on all 72 clubs and how they played is pretty much impossible

The first week's show was absolute bobbins, flipped from 1 league to another then back again, no continuiity, then random talk with Adam Virgo about shyte !

Last week's was better in the fact that it was more structured, did a league at a time with the league table at the end of the matches..
Still not sure about the audience and their lack of participation (or club shirts) - may as well have a studio full of mannequins !!

Also, if Adam Virgo is the best ex footballer they can get to co-present then we're in for a long old season ahead !!!
