BenitoCarbone
That's harsh, and sad. Would've really liked to see him here...
BC1867
Don't want him. Its a joke when A footballer that's been here for years can't work but the country is full of nobheads that want to kill us. UK Logic. Indeed
Southie_Owl
Can't see that happening to any players Arsenal want to sign in the future
H2Owl
What a joke the FA really are. It's not up to the FA who does and who doesn't get a work permit, is it? Don't want him. Its a joke when A footballer that's been here for years can't work but the country is full of nobheads that want to kill us. UKIP Logic.
Guest Distraught!
How can the FA refuse work permits? I thought that was a matter for immigration. Bodies like the FA stepping into such matters are surely infringing the player's civil rights and there must be grounds for appeal.
themaskedowl
This is possibly the most bizarre thing I've ever seen on here. Well, ok that's maybe going a bit far. At least we've got legitimate excuses these days.

themaskedowl
Does this mean we can go for Charlie Austin now? Or perhaps Steve (I reckon 6 million would do it).

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Literally thousands of foreign players have joined English clubs, yet the first one to be refused a permit under the new regulations was on the verge of signing for us after three years playing up the road in Leeds. This is so brilliantly, bizarrely Wednesday! Edited July 29, 2015 by areNOTwhatTHEYseem
shandypants
Isn't he a defensive midfielder? If so, it doesn't make sense to sign him.
wednesdaywizard
I'm not convinced by this. The criteria behind non EU players coming over is usually dependent on them playing enough international games and being established players amongst other things. This just seems too far out to be accurate. Surely not. Surely.
darklord
so if hes been refused how the heck will have the other foreigners get permits?
DMX
Isn't he a defensive midfielder? If so, it doesn't make sense to sign him. More box to box from what I've seen. Will mix it and stick a foot in but isn't scared to crack a shot off from 30 yards either. Edited July 29, 2015 by DMX
