Tea Baggins
I said in an earlier thread. He 21 yrs old, first 4 months in the Championship. He needs time, I see a difference in him. It'll click and he'll start banging em in.

alanharper
Missed a lot of chances, but unlike the other lump he got himself into the positions to miss them.
BC1867
Agreed. Hope his confidence remains but he needs a word with himself after that. Was poor today but not sure any of our other so called strikers would make the runs he would to make the chance in the first place

It'll click and he'll start banging em in. Agree with that. People seem to forget he's only the same age as Lavery (who must people still regard as a kid/prospect) They just expect more from May because of the money we paid for him

jambler
He's SCOTTISH and USELESS get rid. What's him being Scottish got to do with it? Westwood is Irish, want to get rid of him because he isn't English? Edited December 13, 2014 by jambler
swfc-dan
Not just the strikers, we don't shoot nearly enough as a team. Only players often willing to take a crack are Mcgugan and Maguire. Our midfield barely contributes with goals at all. And the defenders contributions from set pieces is now non-existant. So really all the pressure is on the strikers to score. Nuhiu's totally forgotten how to find the net so it's all down to May. Tough ask of a 21 yr old still new to the club/city isn't it. Think of the bigger picture next time slagging May off. He's still working his balls off. He needs help up there, and Nuhiu needs dropping. Give Lavery a chance alongside him. EDIT: A lot more sense spoken about May in this thread compared to others. Edited December 13, 2014 by swfc-dan

And even that's more than we've had from our recent strikers over the years. I've seen enough to suggest he can finish. Just a bad day today.
