bladeshater
Millwalls substitutes were good enough to make an impact which changed the balance of play in the last 15 minutes
anglers owl
1) Maghoma doesn't know how to pass the ball. Or shoot at the right moment. 2) Hutchinson got a bad back 3) Madine didn't work hard enough when he came on, Nuhiu was chasing around much more. 4) Referee had a shocker 5) Helan over committed in the lead up to their goal. 6) half time challenge muted the atmosphere can only agree with the first one pal, doesnt take long to single out the scapegoats, Madine & Helan. Nuhiu could run around all day and create nothing. Maguire gave ball away in the corner, bad decision by Mattock with header but dont let facts get in the way of a bashing. We need to go all out for Ben10 or similar, who can feed a Madine, May partnership IMHO
matthefish2002
I thought for the last ten mins of the game we lost our composure. Even after the missed Pen you felt the longer the game went on more chance of Millwall scoring. We seemed to keep the ball much better at Brighton for last few minutes. I was also a bit disapointed seeing the goal back on TV that we had about 5 defenders in the box and no one try to close him down when he turned inside. gurujuan
We need 2 attacking Midfielders asap One to play all the time One as sub The whole attacking area of our game has been neglected. It's the area that perhaps would have been strengthened following the takeover, but because Milan has pulled the plug, we're still well short

It's just common-sense. Might as well lose by 2 or 3 as lose 1 nil.

Guest zico sterland
Strange youve written May off as league 1 standard Guru when you championed Slothroyd for months when everyone else could see he was poo and a waste of space . Believe he is know THAILAND LEAGUE STANDARD.Let the team settle its early doors and I would have taken 5 from 3 before these games were played. marshy
4 games in 11 days with an already paper thin squad was always going to be a test. Now we've picked up a couple of injuries as well compounds the problem. Gray needs backing from the chairman and he needs it now, although if what we are led to believe is true then we should hopefully hear something on that front very soon. We didn't create very much for the front two & Stevie May was chasing scraps all night. Long lad missed his chance as per when he should have at least hit the target. Look at our bench last night, there wasn't anyone on there that could change you the game.
trevdi9
simple our players packed up, thinking it was over before it was when in reality should have put the ball and their player into the stand
Manor Owl
1-1 was a fair result. It's just the manner of their 94 minute equaliser. Blaming the timing of their goal and not keeping the ball in their corner obscures wider issues. 1. Are we playing 442 when Maguire and Maghoma are part of the mid 4. At times we seemed to be playing an open 424. 2. Are we going to 451 on Saturday. If so who will be the 1. Presumably Big Dave to rough up their defence. Or see what Stevie can do on his own ball on the floor. 3. If Hutch and Lee are out for some time, likely, the first backup line becomes McCabe and Corry. Sitting them on the bench every week is no good. Need to see what they can do. 4. Did Loovens pick up a 3rd yellow last night. I didn't notice but sure Stuart Gray mentioned it. Guest
He did, but what about maghoma, just as guilty yet doesn't get a mention Correct ! Spookone
We were unlucky, you can pick apart different areas and performances in any team win or lose. Lets have a little more positivity, some of the fans who were convinced we wouldn't get any points in the first five matches, can now moan about conceding a very late goal to a good team. What else can they do with their lives?
stocksyuto
Nuhiu had 3 men marking him tight and may had 2 on him all the time, Teams are going to mark our strikers like that all season its up to us to sort that out and gets some creativity up front . What else can they do with their lives? It's good that we can discus and debate these performance though yeah? It's fairly obvious that an away win at Brighton will engender more positivity than a home draw against Millwall. Of course that doesn't take into consideration that Brighton were in a bit of a mess, and Millwall have started the season very well. That's football
Errol Flashman
Played a good side. Weren't at our best. In the end we just lacked a bit of experience and nous to see us over the line Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good. Groundhopping Owl
1. We were too pedestrian going forward from midfield, leaving nuhiu and may absolutely naff-all to work with. 2. The ref 3. Same as against derby, we were absolutely shattered last 15 mins, leading to the sloppy defending for the goal. 4. We had no bench options to help, helan is garbage as a winger, should only ever play at left back, and madine contributed nothing. 5. We couldn't cope with Millwall's physicality, they did their homework and worked out if they hounded out nuhiu that would be a major piece of our play gone. 6. Maghoma dithered and dithered in good positions.
