i used to be sc_owl
Quality footballer, who could have had a much better career. His own worst enemy at times.
Night King
Way too good a footballer to be playing out of the top league.
Thurnscoe_OWL
He was their MOM easily. Looks like his time in France has taken the nasty side away but he still likes to challenge for things. If McCabe put himself about a bit more (like Barton does) then we could have a top midfielder on our hands in a few years time

I've not seen anything in McCabe for him to get such high expectations.

brian joicey
Joseph Barton â€@Joey7Barton14 May I'll just re-iterate for a lot of the buffoons tweeting me. I WILL NOT BE PLAYING IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT SEASON. Hope that clears that up! Retweeted by Lord Hillsborough Expand
3mps
Joseph Barton â€@Joey7Barton 14h Didn't expect nor do I deserve that reception from the QPR fans today. Many thanks... #humbled
Thurnscoe_OWL
Just out of interest what makes you think that? I've not seen anything in McCabe for him to get such high expectations. He's always looking for a pass to set us off but he doesn't impose himself enough to actually make a big impact at the minute. If he did put himself about more then he'd have more time on the ball to make the passes as players would think twice about closing down quickly I've noticed loads of times that instead of putting in a challenge he'll let the opposition win the ball and try to chase down. burncross owl10
Good player, bags of ability. Tons of baggage comes with him though. If I was a manager I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole. In his mind he is probably the best midfielder in the world-ever. As a human being he has time and time again, proved himself to be a complete tail. djstatic
As good as that tail was today, he could and possibly should've been sent off. The penalty that never was, was easily a booking.
Guest
Second only to Kirkland yesterday for MOM ran the midfield, his passing was sublime, didn't get involved in anything he shouldn't have. Far too good for this division that's for sure Very good passer, great vision. Don't think he would have been in contention for man of the match had he been sent of with a third of the game remaining though which could easily have been the case. Far too good for this division that's for sure There wasn't that much for him to get himself involved in trouble wise, it wasn't that sort of game. Hardly means he is a changed man. As you say he is far too good for this division and it is likely he won't be here come September. If he hadn't let himself down so many times then he would have had a prolonged career in the PL playing for at least a top half side if not better. If McCabe put himself about a bit more (like Barton does) then we could have a top midfielder on our hands in a few years time he's a nobhead, at the first sign he'll be in 18" over the ball... he'll never get better, he's something loose upstairs... IF we had him, he'd be off every other game...
Orlando_Trustful
Why has he changed his name to Joseph? He sounds like one of Jesus' disciples. Brother Joseph.
