I'll tell you what. flip the fans who pay their hard earned money, forego holidays for tickets/season tickets. Let us worry about the position the team are in the league. Let them all go their jollies, it will do them the world of good as it is obvious it is taking its toll on these icons. Hard life innit.

Whats up has BOTHROYD touched thi up for his fare ?

I imagine it was all agreed weeks ago. Anyway, the players getting a few days away from the crucible will allow them to come back better prepared mentally.

Very true, just a shame they aren't robots programmed to not have any emotion at all

When your job is made tougher by all the criticism, and things haven't been going your way as well, a break is something likely to sort out their heads and get them in a better mind frame, which will only improve performance...

I think it will do him good. "Him" being Bothroyd, because as far as we know, he's the only one who's gone away. 2 weeks until our next game, they were never going to train every day up until then. Didn't he tweet a picture of him in the gym while he was there? Not as if he's out on the p!ss is it? What's the promble?

yeah and a holiday in October will make the difference between staying up and going down.

Have you been following football long?

No but i've been going to Wednesday matches for 30 odd years.

Since when has It been wrong for someone to go away for a few days?

This is what I mean about ott negativity. Next you'll be complaining because one of them went to the cinema today.

I hate to break this news to some of you delicate little lambs, but guess what....they aren't Wednesday fans, they are professional footballers, it's a job, and when given the opportunity they'll do normal things, like go away for a few days...or socialise. God forbid any of them have any fun, for fear of upsetting our fans.

It looks like the players are having holidays instead of putting things right.not happy

As long as the players are happy and recharging themselves ready for when they come back in a few days, then to be honest i dont give too hoots if your happy or not, to be honest it might do some supporters good to get away for a few days.

?

Everyone is entitled to holidays.

If I flip up at work, they don't cancel my holidays.

FFS, I honestly think some of our fans want too see our players publicly whipped after every defeat.
