His delivery was embarrassing, he seems to be more concerned with his looks and pretty pink boots than playing football. He should have been first out of the door this summer. Waste of space. Very impressive home debut & linked up well with Antonio. 8/10. Interesting comment at the end. All good fullbacks are better when they link with the wingers in front of them. I have never thought of Antonio as good in that department. I always thought that Palmer was excellent in his support of his fullback. Not saying he is in the same class as Antonio, but I am a fan. oneeyedmilkman Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 I definitely dont agree that dan jones was poo poo, but it's a bit weird that in the first half he put that peach of a ball across the 6 yard box for rodri, yet his corners and free kicks were not great. He won't face a more difficult opponent this season than Chris Eagles I doubt, and Eagles barely got a cross or shot in all game. Just started a little nervously for the first 5 minutes but that was to be expected. Daniel Jones was terrible. He has the worrying attribute, possibly picked up from spending too much time with Tommy Spurr, of standing 10 feet away from wingers and watching them cross it.
