KivoOwl
First half Absolute horror show. Reda looked well out of his depth against a jouneyman winger. Gardner looked good but his partnership with Llera was non-existant. Antonio looked rusty. Jose was carrying Pecnik in the middle. Madine shouldn't have started. Kirkland - 6 Buxton - 6 Llera - 5 Gardner - 6 R.Johnson - 4 Antonio - 6 Pecnik - 4 Semedo - 6 J.Johnson - 5 Madine - 4 Maguire - 5 Second half Kirkland made some blinding saves. Antonio & JJ tore them to shreds. Coke steadied the ship. Pecnik was far better up top. O'Grady was IMMENSE and changed the game. Kirkland - 8 Buxton - 6 Llera - 6 Gardner - 7 R.Johnson - 5 Antonio - 8 Coke - 7 Semedo - 7 J.Johnson - 8 O'Grady - 9 Pecnik -

And Buxton a 6 !?!?!? Kirkland didn't have much to do, Antonio showed some life late on in the half, but almost all of the rest should have been down in the 2s and 3s. But he had a stinker. He wasn't fit, and shouldn't have played.

Totally agree, Gardner let his man get in front of him for the second. Not going to diss him though, he played well against West Brom so probably got caught up in the chaos. OxonOwl
You can see the class in pecnik even though he didn't have a great game. Always love the way Cogba plays glad he got goals I think we basically forgot how to play L1 football early on.
101010
Some positives from tonight but it concerns me the amount Liera looses his man or is on the wrong side of him. Don't get me wrong on the ball love him but defensively he is a worry for next season against better players.

It was a positive performance, I'll take that but seeing as all 3 subs that got on we seem to be waiting for bidders either on loan or for sale we really need to keep building our "squad" Well done Cog
BarnsleyOwl_
Surprised to see most people give Llera a 6? He won absolutely EVERYTHING that came near him, he's a beast in the air and set up our second goal..

SiJ
Kirkland - 7/10 (very good and two excellent saves) Buxton - 5/10 (3 for the first half) Llera - 6/10 (the assist helped) Gardner - 6/10 (not brilliant) Reda - 6/10 (4 for the first half) Antonio - 8/10 (our one real threat throughout) Semedo - 6.5/10 (struggled in first half, but was helped with Coke's introduction) Pecnic - 7/10 (4/10 for the first half, but what a transformation when he moved up top) JJ - 7/10 (Did well for the most part - looked a threat and got a goal) Maguire - 4/10 (One chance but he looked a bit lightweight) Madine - 3/10 (Clearly injured) Subs: O'Grady - 8/10 (MOTM and deservedly so - he changed the game) Coke - 6.5/10 (Firmed up the midfield) Jones - 5/10 (Didn't have too much to do, but he seems to have some sort of future at the club) Edited August 13, 2012 by SiJ
Arthur Bach
Antonio hardly touched the ball in the first half. No where near a 6.
IstillhateSteveBould
1st half Kirkland - 6 Buxton - 4 Llera - 6 Gardner - 5 R.Johnson - 4 Antonio - 6 Pecnik - 3 Semedo - 5 J.Johnson - 5 Madine - 5 Maguire - 4 2nd half Kirkland - 7 Buxton - 5 Llera - 6 Gardner - 6 R.Johnson - 6 Antonio - 8 Coke - 7 Semedo - 7 J.Johnson - 6 Pecnik - 7 COG - 8 MOM - A throw up between Antonio and COG. COG changed things big time. Antonio was literally our ONLY threat in the first half and was awesome in the last half an hour.
