EcclesallOwl
In the Dave Jones interview a week or so ago he said that it's up to Reading, they might have other offers or there might be some sort of part exchange deal This is probably it
Mr. Chow
If he wants to come us why hasn't he said look let me go to Sheffield Wednesday where I performed in every game. Who knows he will be same Player at Huddersfield

Tamworthowl
If Antonio doesn't want to go to Huddersfield it won't happen. Presumably Huddersfield are limited by the same financial fair play rules as everyone else. So I cant see him getting paid more at Hudders than with us. But if Reading want Rhodes, they may give Antonio a big pay-off, which might swing it. And then, if we dont have an offer accepted, Antonio may choose first tesm football at Hudders over Reading reserves. If Hudders makes Antonio coming in a condition of Rhodes leaving, what incentive have Reading to agree a deal with us, unless its ridiculously OTT? Furious George
He's already said he wants to join us, it's our fault if we don't match his fee Is this fact? Or speculation? Perhaps Reading wouldn't accept as financially he is more useful in a swap deal?

Arthur Bach
If Antonio goes to Huddersfield then good luck and thanks for a great season last year. One player doesn't make a team. Reading got promotion with little or no help from Antonio so why are people getting their knickers in a twist?
davey_wells
Doesn't them already signing scannell mean this is less likely?

s29wfc
Doesn't them already signing scannell mean this is less likely? Good point. They have just paid in excess of 500k for Scannell so not sure he would be brought in to sit on the bench, Antonio definitely wont want to sit on the bench. That we haven't matched their ammount. Is that fact? Or is it possible there isn't one, and they see more use in him as a makeshift player?
