Get a grip

Yeah, its not looking good at the moment- yes we got totally spanked by reading. Yes its shameful and embarrassing. BUT........

Thats in the past. We CANNOT give up yet. This is championship football, things can change in an instant. I know its down to the players, but as fans we can have a huge impact on atmosphere which absolutely affects the flow of a game. Please SUPPORT your team on Saturday, and BELIEVE that they can pull off a win. Please DO NOT get on the players backs if we concede- the negative attitude (of players-but also of fans) after we have conceded first in the last few games has been a major factor in why we have never looked like getting back into games. Sing, shout, clap and make this into a huge game so that our players are more psyched up than leicester's.

It's 11 vs. 11 and anything can happen.

No sarky bullshit fud please. I wanna hear some positivity

But Leicester are going to tear us apart, and we will capitulate.

By the time the next weekend comes around there is always some form of optimism.

The fans gripe is that we go a goal down and its game over, so if we can show signs of changing that on the pitch then we have a chance and the fans will respond.

Ive told myself I wont bother even listening again never mind going a few times, but I always end up going back...to promise myself the same thing at 5.50 pm. lol

Look on the brightside, we're due a goal!!!

Thats the thing, weve been like a pendulum of confidence going through huge dry spells. When we actually get a goal the confidence returns and we look like we vaguely resemble a football team.

But our confidence is too easily shattered.

Theres 13 games left- look at whats happened in the last 13 and tell me that its impossible for us to get out of this.

Some of you are more concerned about the comedic value of your own sarcasm (which is usually repetitive and pathetic) than the plight of the team you purportedly support.

I am positively blaming those yellow away shirts for our poo results

I would point out that I am (usually) a positive poster; however, the manner of our defeat at the weekend has left a big hole in many wednesdayite hearts

I admire your spirit robswfc but i cant see many owlstalkees siding with ya mate

UTO though

I believe the only way of lifting the players now is that they know we are with them. I don't think they've given up but believe we've given up on them.

Well only get out of this together

Come gather 'round wednesdayites

Wherever you roam

And admit that the doubts

Among you have grown

But keep believing that soon

You'll be celebrating at home

If your time to you

Is worth savin'

Then you better start singin'

Or you'll sink like a stone

For the times they are a-changin'.

Come writers and critics

Who prophesize with your pen :)

And keep your eyes wide

The chance won't come again

And don't speak too soon

For the league's still in spin

And there's no tellin' who

League One's claimin'.

For the loser now

Will be later to win

For the times they are a-changin'.

Come Lee, Tommy, Frankie

Please heed the call

Don't pass down blind alleys

Keep your heads up tall

For he who gets hurt

Will be he who has stalled

There's a battle outside

And its ragin'.

It'll soon shake our opponents

And surprise us all

For the times they are a-changin'.

Come Strafford and Irvine

With all of the fans

And don't criticize

What you can't understand

The players and your hopes

Are within your command

The old road is

Rapidly agin'.

Please get out of Hillsborough

If you can't lend your hand

For the times they are a-changin'.

Tudgay will come good

And Purse he'll be back

The slow one now :)

Will later be fast

As the present now

Will later be past

The order is

Rapidly fadin'.

And the first one now

Will later be last

For the times they are a-changin'.

Football fans are fickle.

3 (admitedly flipping abysmal) games since a win and suddenly we're doomed again.

It's going to go right to the wire and i wouldn't be surprised if the winner on the last day against Palace sends the loser down.

Its poo poo-or-bust time now.

That performance, and Irvine's reaction will either get the players revved up like rabid dogs or it will kill em off.

If they havent got the pride and stomach to come out fighting after what happened on saturday, then they should be shown the door in the summer. I dont care who they are.

Saturday is now an absolutley massive game.

The rot either stops now or its over.

Give or take a few, this set of players have recieved more hammerings than I can ever remember.

The annoying thing is, they can get results, they can compete at this level. But when things go wrong they just fall apart.

That indicates to me that as agroup they just havent got the balls to play at this level.

Whichever division we are in next season, half of this current lot need to be shown the door.

I don't think it's a case of giving up for the fan's, i think it's more of a case of if the player's can't be bothered then why should the fan's?

It's not like the player's are paying to pay, fan's are spending £100 + a match to watch that poo .

It has to work both way's -

Fan's lift the player's and the player's SHOULD lift the fan's, are they doing that?
