David1867
Iv been told by someone at the club that we have turned down two £1m+ bids from premier league teams for young Hirsty. Not long ago we would have snatched their hand off and it's also good to see us finally producing some young lads of a good quality.

OwlofOliveGrove
Wonder who the clubs were. Don't want to lose him at this early stage though. Loan him out at the very most, don't sell!

Winnall would be in another league at the moment.

jonesy87shef
Funny if true. Why would a club in our position accept a bid that size. Lookman played half a season championship and half a season in league 1 and not exactly lit the division up. He goes for daft money. But ye we would sell our most exciting youth prospect who is knocking on the door of the first team for peanuts.

Birley Owl 1867
Everton I'd say. A scout was there at the youth cup game

gurujuan
Chelsea have been tracking him on a regular basis Ironically, we might be facing them in the next round of the youth cup, so they can get a close look at what they're missing.
matthefish2002
Think every Premiership and Championship club now have extensive scouting networks not just here but in other countries too. Any promising young player anywhere will have come there attention if they are doing there job properly. Just a case of who is prepared to take a punt and if other club willing to let them go at that price as well as all the tapping up that I am sure still goes off. Properly has been interest in him but nothing different from any other good young player.
WalkleyWeds
I'd like to see him loaned out to league 1 or even a lower half championship team. Some first team football would be good for him and we should be seeing him as a prospect to be developed rather than an asset to cash in.
aeroswfc
Doesn't surprise me that we've had bids for him.

Think from what I've seen of the younger players, Hirst and Fraser Preston are the most likely to make it, great to see us finally producing a few players. It's a risk free gamble for a lot of the top clubs with daft money to chuck about though, hopefully if we think enough of them, we won't have to cash in. gurujuan
Chelsea have been present at a few of our development matches, and Arsenal were watching us against Birmingham. That's how they muscled in on Cohen Bramhall

Genuine question. He's a good prospect regardless of what his name is, he's mobile and a good finisher, just needs to keep learning and developing physically more than anything. However, if his name was Smith, I doubt there'd be many people saying he should be getting a game in the first team at this stage. Patience no longer exists in football.
